#2: While the Way

      Anna was now very suspicious and scary.
She knew the missing teachers and missing students were one kind of the strange
things happening. She was really worried about Mrs. Branny and of course, her
best friend Kelly. While she was in the deep thoughts, the speaker rang again,
and there came the principle’s voice again, “Everyone should be out of the classroom right now!” Anna came back to her normal mind. She looked around
the classroom and found out that she was the only one left in the classroom.
She learned that her classmates had already packed up and went out of the
school. Anna packed her backpack right away and went out of the school. While
going back to her home, she met many of her classmates. She tried to talk to
them, but her classmates didn’t even said ‘hello’. They just avoided her gaze and
quicken their steps. She thought maybe this was another kind of these strange
things. After 10 minutes of walking, she sat down on the park bench to rest for
a while. It took 35 to 40 minutes to walk to the school and to come back from
the school, so she always rested one or two times while going and coming back.
While resting, she met the police. They were talking about the missing teachers
and missing students’ from Weather Land Elementary School. They sounded also
very worried. Suddenly, the fierce wind blew! She decided to go home and stood
up. And…

When
she woke up, she saw someone talking to her. Someone was talking to her in a
very chilly voice. It made her shiver. Anna tried to ask who that is, but he cut
her off. He said, “Why are you here? You shouldn’t
be here… Why are you here? You are…”

Anna
woke up from her dream. It was a very scary dream and a little weird. When she
finally got up from the bench and watched her clock, it was already 3 o’clock in the afternoon. She had dreamed for about an
hour. She quickened her steps because her mother might be worried. She also
wanted to tell her mother about all these strange things. While going back, she
wondered about her dream. What was she? And who was talking to her? And what
was this all about? Was anyone involved? Maybe one she knew… or maybe it’s
related to her…
