Good sleep is very important for our waking hours.
If you sleep nicely, you can join your other moments more.
And it can even make our sleeping time short.
So I'd love to tell you about my sleeping dreaming routine.
It can be a little different by person, but I hope you'd like to try.
Before the start, I must tell you that I made this routine by myself a few years ago, so it's a very personal thing.
And I think this routine helps me a lot.

STEP 1. You have to make your body and mind very comfortable.
Maybe taking a shower will help you a little.
Finish everything you have to do that day, so you don't have any other thinking.
This step will help you concentrate.

STEP 2. It's time to go to your bed.
It will be more helpful if you set the same bedtime everyday.
Make the room a little bit chilly (but not so chilly, if you don't want to argue with your mother), and prepare your most comfortable blanket and pillow.
Lie on your bed, and we can finally start.

STEP 3. Now you're going to imagine a place you like, and you can create that if you want.
Think about nothing but a place you feel comfortable to be.
But the point is not thinking about other things.
The place has to be the background and your are the person.
So there's no one in the place but you, and there isn't that outlooking object.
For my routine, it's usually the nature.
My favorite is wide cornfield or grass field, but I also like to imagine forest when I don't feel good.
But remember, it's just background, so it must be simple.

STEP 4. Okay, now imagine that you're in the place.
Now you can feel your feet on the ground, and you can hear the wind (or other things, it's up to you).
And you can also feel the air on your skin.
Now you can breathe the air.
You're absolutely in the place.
Well, this needs practice, so you may start with just imagining.
But if you can do this perfectly, you may imagine other things.
Start with simple things like butterflies or birds.
And while imagining, you have to sleep, you're slowly going to enter your dream.
As you fall asleep, you go closer to your place.
(You have to close your eyes and don't move, of course)
But don't imagine bad or scary places because it can turn your dream into a nightmare.
If a scary thing appears in your place, step back from it.
And erase that by your sleeve, and imagine that it's fading away.
Dream is your mind, so you can control it.

STEP 5. Actually we can't know we're dreaming, but we can change its mood.
Now things will happen by themselves.
Just follow them, and think about good and peaceful things.
I mostly dream a very long story, maybe it can fill 2 or 3 books.
But I can't write about it because it's absolute nonsense, very long nonsense.
My dreams are usually about the latest book I read, and I'm still in Hunger Games.
But I'm slowly moving to The Hobbit.

STEP 6. If you accidentally wake up at night, go back to sleep as soon as you can.
And imagine your last dream point.
It's like STEP. 4, but you don't have to erase other details.
But if you're unable to concentrate or your forgot what you dreaming, just start with STEP 3.

STEP 7. Now you wake up in the morning.
Was your dream good?
But never try to sleep more.
This routine is for your good sleep, and your reality is the most important.
Don't get up yet, and just try to think that you are waking up.
And when your mind is clear, remember your dream from the start.
You can write that down if you want, but for me it's too annoying.
Now stretch your body, and drive away thoughts about your dream.

Well, this is my daily sleep routine.
It helps me have better sleep, so I don't get tired on my days.
First few days is very hard, but all you need is practice.
I'm doing this for few years, but yet I can't do this perfectly all the time.
Here's are simple tips for you.
TIP 1. Don't watch so scary movies or scary book before sleep.
You don't want to have a nightmare, right?
TIP 2. But if you accidentally fall into a nightmare, try to move your real body and close your dream eyes.
Don't think about bad things because it comes true in your dream.
TIP 3. Listening to music is good, too, if you can concentrate on your place.
But you should not listen to exciting or loud music.
For me, I like Elvish music in LOTR and The hobbit because it's beautiful and calm.
TIP 4. I already said this, but your room must be a little bit chilly.
Because if it's hot, you can't concentrate and have a nightmare.
