A Lot of Facts about Hamsters 2
Hello, everyone. This time, I'm going to write the hamsters facts 2, following the last diary. Did you read my last diary? I'm going to continue writing, so please read "A Lot of Facts about Hamsters 1" before you read this!
I'll give you a really good knowledge of hamsters. We can observe hamsters' behavior to understand their feelings. If you know this, you can understand their feelings by looking at your hamster, which is really good knowledge. Listen to me. First of all, it is everyday and comfortable for a hamster to go back and forth on the floor while digging bedding. And grooming with front feet is routine or disturbing. Also, if they look at one place and raise their ears, it means they are curious. If they stand on both feet, raise their ears, and look up, they are wary. They are nervous if they straighten their body and lower themselves to the floor. So look carefully. And if they lay their ears down and stare one place, don't approach the hamsters because they are both vigilant and unpleasant. It's a sense of fear if they run a wheel extremely fast. Also, if they lift their teeth while lying down or standing up theirs ears, you should not approach them because it is a severe fear and caution. Next, sit still while grooming, which means they are comfortable. They put down their ears and close their eyes or eat food when they are happy. It is comfortable and satisfying to lie back, yawn and stretch. Another comfortable act is to sleep with your back on the floor and showing their stomach. If they put their stomach out and squeak, you should let them go because they are in panic. If your hamster approaches you, there's something they want, so take a closer look. Did you recognize the feelings of the hamster's behavior? I want you to know these behaviors and observe your hamster.
There are rumors about hamster diseases. One of the rumors is that hamsters don't have diseases, but that's not true. Hamsters have many diseases. I'll tell you some of it. Common diseases of hamsters include colds, allergic diseases, constipation, diarrhea, tumors, and accidental diseases such as heat stroke, fall, glioma, hibernation, and infectious diseases. And there are teaser diseases, proliferative enteritis, bacterial gun hyperplasia, lymphocyte meningitis, vitiligo, internal parasitic inflammation, and external parasitic inflammation. So don't believe in strange rumors.
There's one thing I'm disappointed about hamsters. Hamsters are short-lived. Hamsters usually live for about two years. But aging starts in a year and five months. But do you know that a golden hamster is 53 years old and a dwarf hamster is 72 years old when a person is 2 years old? It is really sad that hamsters have such a short life span. When a hamster ages, it eats less food, reduces activity, and loses fur. So there's a way to raise an old hamster, and I'll let you know. First of all, you should clean the hamster's cage more often. Normally, you only need to do it once a week, but when they get older, you have to do it every three days. Second, you should take good care of their teeth. Third, you should feed them soft food. And since the activity is less, you have to take out the toys that they don't use. And it's better to handle them carefully. Our hamster Jjjinbbang died of aging, too. I'm so sad.
So far, I've told you about hamsters. Would you like to adopt a hamster? Think carefully if you want to. Adopting for no reason and not being responsible should never happen. Okay? In Korea, hamsters can be purchased cheaply, so they are easily abused, neglected, and abandoned without responsibility, but I hope you never do that. I hope you know all this knowledge and raise a hamster.
