One girl's Story-12
"Darling? Can I come in?" Mother knocked on Vronica's bedroom door. "No... I want to have some time for myself." Vronica felt her tears streming down her cheep. She thought she didn't care whether the girls teased her or not, but hearing mother's sympathtic voice made her broke. She now knew that she did care. She wanted to make friends in this neighborhood, she wanted to be the cheerful girl she use to be, she wanted...the four girls to be her friend, or just one of them. Vronica had always thought that crying made the girl who wanted her to suffer acheive her goal of suffering her. But, as she thought about it, it wasn't really like that. She didn't feel humiliated. She felt fresh. So, she wiped off her tears. "Mother! I want to speak to you." Vronica heard mother hurrying up the stairs to her room. She was in her kitchen apron while holding her frying pan! It gave Vronica a good wave of laughter, and Vronica thought mother didn't care. As mother lay her frying pan on the floor, Vronica ran to her and hugged her. "Mother... I was to worried that you might be upset about the news..." Vronica looked up to see her mother smiling. "Yes... I was indeed worried, but I am not upset. But, you should promise me that you will tell me when you are bullied."
The next day was a sunny one and Vronica decided to vist Joy's house. Joy was a cheerful girl and Vronica thought that Joy was a good kid, who never really cared about some silly rumors. Vronica thought that Joy only acted like that because her friends acted like that too. Vronica put on her pants and T-shirt like any other girls can wear. "Mother~ I think I'll come back as soon as I can~" With that, Vronica started running toward Joy's house.
