Hilda and Catherine were waiting Jenice at their detective stand. "Why isn't she coming?" asked Catherine. They had promised to meet at 10 o'clock, since it was Saterday, and it was 10:13, but Jenice wasn't coming. "Let's go to her house. Maybe she forgot." Hilda said. They walked to Jenice's house, and pressed the bell. Jenice's mother opened the door. "Is Jenice home?" asked Catherine. Jenice's mother shook her head. "No. But...... She was acting very strange yesterday and this morning. She went out early at 8 this morning. And I thought she was with you." Hilda shook her head. "Nope. She is not with us. Actually, she hasn't shown up when she has to." Jenice's mother sighed. "I'm worried about her. Did something happen last Friday, when you three went to the amusement park?" "Um... we did solve a mystery, but that was normal." Catherine said, looking confused. Jenice's mother clapped her hands in delight and said, "Catherine! You said you and Hilda had made a detective stand! Yes! I here by hire you to solve the mystery of the suspicious daughter!" "Yes sir!" Hilda and Catherine saluted, laughing. When the two of them were out of Jenice's mother's ear shot, Hilda giggled. "Jenice is sure like her mother!" Catherine nodded. "Yah. But that's not important. We need to find Jenice and find out what's going on." Hilda sighed. "Though that will be hard because we don't know where she went..." Just then, Christina ran toward them with Jack. "Hi guys! Do you know what I found out at the movie theater?!" Christina said. "Wait! Are you two still dating?" Catherine said in a 'OMG' tone. Jack frowned. "Of course we are!" Hilda snorted. "I've never imagined that Christina will mercifully forgive you and date you!" Jack frowned and said, "I'm now at this moment ending relationship with you!" Christina coughed. "Can I please continue? And talking about ending relationships, I saw Jenice shouting to someone at the movie theater. But I didn't saw that person because I was distracted at Jenice. Her costumes! I thought she was going for a date!"

Christina turned but Catherine and Hilda were gone. Jack laughed. "I saw them run off at the right moment when you said about the movie theater! I think they headed there."
