  • "Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to Alabama's most exquisite performence!" The announcer exclaimed.

Today was the day of the show and almost everyone, including the kids from Alabama Kacker Elementary had come to see the play. Rows of chairs decorated the overflowing gym and hundreds of people were sitting on them. Alabama Kacker Elementary's performence was well-known over the country for having exciting shows, and today was the day of the show.

All the people were excited to watch the performence, except one. Clodin Perry was sitting nervously in the audiance, waiting for her sister's, in greater detail, her twin sister's performence to begin.

Bailey Perry, Clodin's twin sister was really cheerful and like to be the center of attention. Clodin, on the other hand, was usually quiet and tried not to hold attention to herself. When the school said they were having a performence infront of almost everyone from Alabama, Bailey quickly signed-up, which got on Clodin's nerves. Things weren't going on so well during this past days, and Clodin feared that the show might not turn out so good for the two of them. But Bailey was confident and Clodin couldn't persuade her sister out of the show.

As Clodin watched the show, she got more and more nervous. The kids were doing really great, which meant if Bailey doesn't turn out great, the people won't be very pleased.

Finally, the announcer exclaimed, "Now, the moment of excitment.... We have Bailey Perry, Alabama Kacker Elementary's president!"

Bailey walked out with a confident look. She took the microphone from the annoucer and gave a bow. The kids on the front of the row cheered excitedly, probably excited to see their president's show.

She started to sing and dance, and everything went on so perfectly that it took Clodin a moment to notice something unusual. The stage light was shaking uneasily and it seemed it might fall any moment.

Clodin let out a gasp as Bailey danced more closely toward the stage light. 'No! No!! No!!! Move right, move right!!' Clodin thought desperately as Bailey drew nearer toward the light. Now the light was shaking vigorously on top of Bailey and Bailey didn't seemed to have the slightest idea that she was in serious danger.

With out thinking, Clodin acted. A light sparkled in her hands as she pointed her second finger to the stage at the right moment when the light fell, catching speed as it went down. All the lights went off at once and Clodin could hear the people gasping and murmuring.

When the lights came on, the stage light had half-destroied the stage. Beside it was Bailey, with a scared and frightened look on her face.

"What happened?" Somebody shouted from the crowd. The announcer hurried onto the stage as some stage hands took Bailey down stage.

"It seems like we had some accidents, the stage lights fall off." "What about the show?" "We're sorry, but it seems like we have to cancle the show until the stage is fixed. Now all the people follow the guide! We don't want any more accidents happing in the gym!"

At that, all the people stood up, including Clodin. But instead of heading for the door, Clodin hurried toward the stage, to check on her twin sister. "Bailey! Are you all right?" Clodin yelled. Bailey nodded, but she was still staring at Clodin. "Clodin... Your, your hands..." "Huh?" "Didn't you see? Your hands..." "My hands?" "Yes, they shot lights and..." "You! What are you doing?" A man shouted at Clodin. "I'm her," Clodin pointed at Bailey. "Twin sister." "Oh, um, all right. Anyway, you all right?" The man said, looking at Bailey. "I think so, I mean, yeah. Now, let's go home Clodin." Bailey said and pulled Clodin toward the door.

They walked in silence until Clodin said, "My hands shot lights?" "Yeah, didn't you feel it?" "No, absolutely not." "Really? But when I was dancing, I noticed you were looking frustrated. Then just before the lights went off, your hands kind of shot lights, and then I was next to the stage light. I mean the fallen one."

Clodin looked at her hands, then shook her head. "But how?"

The two of them entered the house. Clodin thought as she showered and changed clothes. "I felt so desparte when that stage light fell on Bailey, then my hands got up automatically, and I tried to move the light..." "Oh! I have an idea!" Bailey suddenly shouted.

"What?" "Think that the stage light is falling on me. Then do that again." "Okay, I'll try." Clodin said as she took a breathe. Then she tried to think that a stage light is falling on Bailey. But nothing happened. She tried again. Still nothing. After several tries, Bailey sighed. "I don't get it. Why aren't you doing that again?" "Maybe because I'm not feeling desperate like I did at the performence?" "Well then, let's try it."

Before Clodin could stop her, Bailey knocked over Clodin's favorite vase, making it fall down, down, and down!
