The truck was heading toward the little castle to drop off nanny Molly and Poppy.When the truck went about halfway to the castle,the truck stopped suddenly.The leader elf and Conrad's dad came out to check.Poppy and Conrad came too.After a moment,Conrad's dad cried,"Aha!I figured out what's the matter.That was…"Rumble!Rumble! Just then,the ground rumbled."What was that?"The leader elf asked.Rumble!Rumble!The ground rumbled more violently.Then,the leader elf pointed to the direction of the great elf tree.

"Look out!A chicken escaped!He shouted.In the great elf tree,every elves were running around ,waving their hands frantically above their heads."The chickens all escaped!"

"Take cover!" "Everyone,please take caution.The farm worker will catch the chickens,so don't worry." "Aah!The chickens are coming this way!" "One chicken is heading toward the little castle!" "We must warn the king!" "AAH!THE CHICKEN!IT'S COMING…!"

Shouts,warnings,screams and yells echoed all over the great elf tree as the chickens ran all over Little kingdom.The grup of half a dozen elves with lassoes chased after the chickens.

After a moment,it was quite.Conrad's mother,who's the guitar player in elf band,shook her head.

"This is bad."she said.Quite few of the elves nodded.One or the elf factory worker sighed."Who forgot to lock the chicken coop?"The librarian at the elf library asked.Conrad's mom shook her head again."The leader elf isn't going to like this."She said.

"Mom!Dad!Can I aske you something?"Joy asked.She had changed her plan into putting her plan into action that day.She tried to convince her parents to let her don't go to school.But her parents shook their head and said,"No,Joy.We were thinking about that situation too and we decided living in a place like here is not good for your schoolworks.So we decided we'll move to the town today.That way,you can go to school more easily."At that comment,Joy's jaws dropped and she tried not to demand her parents why they decide things without her agreement because she knew her parents won't change their mind.So she just asked for excuse and ran to Little kingdom to say her friends good by.

"Aah!"Poppy screamed and dove into the blueberry bush nearby.The others did the same as the chicken waddled past them and sat down at the middle of the road.The chicken-catching grup had already arrived,but they couldn't capture the chicken and they returned to the great elf tree.The situation was worse and everyone didn't knew what to do.Just then,Joy burst into view.She looked around and quickly spotted her friends and others."There you are!Listen,I should tell you something…"

And then she explained what had happened.Poppy,Conrad and Joy all looked down in disappointment."Joy…Can you help us catch the chickens?"Conrad asked after a moment."What?"Joy asked.So Poppy and Conrad explained their situation.When they finished,Joy nodded and helped them catch all the chickens.When everything was settled,Poppy,Conrad and Joy said good bye.Joy gave her friends a last gift.It was a mini phone!So they could talk in phone even when they were in different places.And everyone was happy even though joy moved.And Joy could visit the forest in saturdays and afternoons.So it's a happy ending!THE END
