 The doorbell rang just as I took my first bite of my lunch-peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I opened the door and peeked out since I was in my pajamas. Molly was standing there, wearing short pants, a blue T-shirt, and a great grin.

 "Iggy! Guess what?" said an over-excited Molly. "My bone has healed! I'm off the boot!" Then she jumped up and down. "It was so hot in there!" I looked down at her foot. Sure enough, the Molly was wearing her regular shoe.

 "Great!" I shouted. I had felt sorry for Molly. "Did you tell Josh and Jenny about it?"

 "No," said Molly, as she shook her head. "I tried the doorbell, but they weren't in the house. Anyway, Iggy, my mom is planning for an amusementpark trip since my foot is healed! Are you free tomorrow?"

 "Yup," I said. I couldn't remember the last time I went to an amusementpark. It was going to be great. So I told Molly to wait for a minute, and then changed into my regular clothes. Then we headed to Josh and Jenny's. This time, when we pressed the doorbell, Jenny peeked out. 

 "Hi!" Molly and I said in unison.

 "Why are you peeking out like that?" I asked.

 "Hi," said Jenny. "Dad took Josh out. He told me to never open the door to strangers, but I know you aren't. Anyway, what's up?"

 "Look!" said Molly, pointing at her foot. "My foot has healed! We're going to an amusement park tomorrow! Can you come too?"

 "And where's Josh?" I added.

 Jenny smiled, but it seemed kind of week. "Wow, great! And I'm free for tomorrow. But I'm afraid Josh isn't. Josh is sick now. Dad's took him to the hospital. He asked me to come along, but I refused. I'm sick with hospitals."

 "Josh is sick?!" Molly and I said together again.

 "Then-then he can't go tomorrow? But I was going to go together!"

 "How is he sick?" I asked.

 "Well," said Jenny, "He has a stomach ache, so maybe if he gets better today, Dad might let him go." We suddenly heard the phone in Jenny's house ring. "Let's go inside."

 "Hello?" Jenny said as she took the phone. "Oh, dad.... Really?... Oh no... Okay... I'll be at Iggy's or Molly's... Bye..." she hung up.

 "What does your dad say?" asked Molly impatiently.

 Jenny turned around with a dark face. "He says Josh has some thing like en-ter-ritis or something. I haven't asked about the amusementpark, but he probably can't go..."

 Jenny kept talking about how Josh had been sick since yesterday. But Molly and I hardly listened, and I sighed. Because, when one problem gets solved, another problem appears.
