Ann and Annie gasped with horror. "But.." Miss Aline said, "No buts. I hate buts as screaming. So, Miss, where is the other orphanage girls? I'd like to see them. And I will only take two of them. I'll only accept the two girls, who are sisters like those screaming girls." Ann and Annie's babysitter replied, "Sorry Miss Aline. No other two girls, who are sisters. Ann and Annie is all. If you'd like to take them, it don't matter, but no family girls, okay? And, Miss Aline, please call me Miss Hollister, not Miss." Miss Aline's face got really red, like a volcano! It was about to burst in lava. Annie muttered to Ann, "Ann.. I think you'll hate her. She really gets angry well. And, her face color is red! A color you hate!" Ann whispered back, "I think so too." And she said to Miss Hollister, "Sorry Miss Hollister, I would be glad if Miss Aline adopts us, but it's very bad she changed her mind." It was very polite, but not truthfull tone. "Sorry. And now, Ann and I would go upstairs. I hope you find a family two girls you like. But, as I consider you, there isn't a girl actually who don't screams, and don't says buts. Now I wish you good luck!" Annie added sarcastically. Miss Aline's face got even more redder. Annie was sure she saw Miss Hollister smiling at them widely, and winking. Annie grinned back.

Miss Aline shouted, "I'll never be back in this orphanage here! I was going to take them to green gables!" And she slammed the door shut behind her, and stormed away. Annie was sure Miss Hollister was muttering like this, "What a bad tempered woman. I'm very glad Ann and Annie wasn't adopted to her. Well, I'll be sure glad if she don't comes to this orphanage once again!" And she shouted to Ann and Annie, "Go to your bed girls! I'm sure this day was tough enough for you!" Ann and Annie went upstairs laughing loudly. Annie said dramatically, "I hope someone good tampered adopts us..." Ann said, "Oh please! I'd like to go green gables... But it's too bad the owner of it was that Miss Aline, isn't it?" After saying this, Ann and Annie laughed hard like this was the funniest joke ever. Miss Hollsiter shouted from downstairs. "Girls! Go to bed!" But, Miss Hollister coudn't stop beaming widely too, congratulating Miss Aline's defeat from two girls, who she was taking care about. "Anyway, good job today." Miss Hollister added smally, in order to make nobody can here but Ann and Annie, and herself. Ann and Annie smiled, and went to fantastic dreamland. Ann was at the green gables, and Annie was at the blue gables. They all slept peacefully for the whole night. "Good night girls!" Miss Hollister whispered as soon as they were aslept.
