Cathleen was horrified by what she saw. there were human bones aroun the clearing and a monster with three heads was chained onto the palace wall. It snarled and breathed green fire as it chewed a bone. It was standing on something tat looked like a box. She crawled near to it and stood up. One of it's head saw her and warned the other heads with a snarl. iT blasted green fire at her. she jumped and the boulder next to her melted. ``Ugh! It's acid! I never knew that Chimaera breathed that.''

``My master gave us monsters new powers that makes us stronger. He's the one who made us reborn!''

` ` Who's your master?''

``You don't need to know or live to meet him 'cause you are gonna die by me!''

``I don't thinkso.''she said and jumped onto its back slshing and jabbing her daggers into it's skin. But it harmlessly bounced of it's hide.

It roared and shook her off. She landed on to the golden bow and arrow.It was a bit muddy with poison but it was as good as new. `Midas's gold is magic. I think it's immune to it's acid.' She thought.

She slung it on to her back and drawed her knife again as she tried to get on to it again, It breathed fire andshe jumped but her hair and weapon wern't so lucky. Her hair was a bt burned, and hr dagger melted.

``ugh! I don't know how to deafet it! ther's no weapon I'm good at.''

She unslung her bow and ran far from the monster. She aimed and let the arrow  fly.
