  • A ghostly lady with pale skins sat on a quiet cafe's chair. She silently watched over the people, with a blank ex-pression on her face. She stared at their laughing, happy faces, and turned her head to look in the mirror. She stared at her not-happy-but-not-sad-either face. She forcefully pulled the end of her lips, trying to hold them up. But it was no use. As soon as she let her hands drop, her face returned. The dreaded face she had looked at for the past ten years. The same face which she had been holding onto while her family, friends, and people she cared for left her. The same face she couldn't give up for anything. She wanted that blank face. She wanted to feel nothing. She wanted to have no emotions. But she didn't know that emotionless people are as good as robots. Feelingless robots.

How many people in this world know that it's lucky to feel things? That feelingless aren't as good as it sounds. That even if feeling nothing might free you from pain or sadness, but at the same time, forbid you from feeling joy, happiness, and gratitude.

She knew, or learned, it the hard way. She had never imagined that she would miss feeling regret and pain. As harsh and painful as it is, it also teaches you. To grow up. To overcome the sadness and be happy. To be human.

She pulled out a small photograph of a young girl, beaming as she licked at a small lollypop, and a tall men, rubbing the girl's reddish hair. That photograph was the only thing she had hold onto while she let other things pass by. That photograph was a thing she lived for.

How she desperately wanted a tear to roll down her cheek at this moment. She thought she would do anything to just get herself to feel again. It was painful to feel nothing than feel sadness and depression. But she had learned it too late.

To a mother, loosing her daughter is the most depressing thing ever. But if it's the mother's fault that she had lost her precious daughter, it's way beyond regret and misery.

The young lady put the photograph back in her pocket as a well-dressed young man approached her.

"Mother!" he called in a booming voice. And then said in a smaller voice, because of the people's glares, said, "Are you ready to get you're feelings back?"

The young lady called "Mother" seemed not to recongnize the man walking toward her. She said nothing as the man sat down infront of her.

"What's wrong with you?" he asked. "Aren't you happy that you'll be feel again?"

She just stared blankly ahead. It seemed like she had suddenly turned into a robot.

"Oh, no." the man said, "I think you have forgot you're medicine! Come on! Father's waiting outside in the van."

The lady didn't resist as the man grabbed her by the arm and dragged her outside and into the van.

"Gee, Jordan. Why didn't you tell me that this time it's a young lady? I had hard time finding her." the young man said in a sarcastic voice as he pulled off his suit, revealing a tinted jacket and ruffy jeans.

When Jordan, the driver, through him a bag containing a black and white dress, he groaned loudly. "Really, Jord?" he said as he rolled his eyes. "Now you want me to be a W-O-M-A-N?"

Jodan turned around, and scowled at the man. "Keep quiet and please turn off that android. It's giving me the creeps."

The man rolled his eyes. "Whatever you say, boss." And then reached for the button on the young lady, or more corretly, the android's neck. "And for your information, this isn't an android. I mean, it's not an ordinary android. It's programed to think like humans, to believe that it's a human, and it has a human's body. This body is kindly donated from a woman who had a runaway daughter who killed herself by jumping off the roof, and a husband who went drunk after his daughter's death, and got killed in a bus accident. Because of her donation, FTGG added that little information to this android, making it believe that it was the lady herself. Besides from that, the only other reason why it is different from humans is because it has buttons that could control it. So it's scientifically half android and half human."

As the man reached for the button while he spoke, the android raised her head, and grabbed the man's hand.
