Runaway at night#13

....."Okay, then. Let's do it." Grace decided, she followed Elina into the truck. Hera followed the two girls silently, her fists trembling. 

The three other girls were almost near the horror house, when Abigail stumbled and almost fell.

"Whoa, girl. 'You alright?" Avery said, helping her up.

Abigail dusted off her clothes. "Yeah I'm fine. Just I had a feeling that there is no use of going into the horror house..."

Bianca frowned. "But you said-"

"I mean that there is nothing we can do. We'll get caught anyways..."

"So?"

"So I think we should at least make a plan or something."

"Yeah, she's right." Avery sighed. "There's nothing we can do in the house. The dolls will catch us at the end."

Bianca felt betrayed. But she knew they were right. "What are we supposed to do then?"

"You're supposed to follow me into the truck" Elina appeared behind the three girls, making them jump.

"El... Elina?" Bianca stammered

"Shhh!! Follow me quietly. Your friends are already in the truck." 

"What do you mean of 'truck'?" Avery asked.

"I'll tell you everything when we get into the truck safely."

"But what about the other people?" Abigail mumbled.

"Abigail, we can't rescue all of them." Elina said firmly, "The dolls - I mean the people are too strong. They are being controlled by my - I mean - the masters..." She felt strange. They weren't her masters now, but she didn't know how to call them. 'Villains' sounded weird, and so did 'kidnappers'.

"Hey, Elina?" Avery reminded.

"Oh, yeah. We should get going."

"We're sorry." The five girls sat inside the dark truck compartment, while Elina tried the engine. 

"Hera, can you help me drive? I've never drived a truck before..." Elina called out from the front sit.

"Sure," Hera went to Elina, and the four other girls sat in the huge truck silently in awkwardness.

"You guys don't wanna know who the masters Elina was talking about are?" Grace broke the cold silence, and tried to start a pep talk. But as soon as she said it, she knew it won't be a pep talk at all, but a serious discussion.

"You know who they are?" Bianca blathered out.

"Elina told me about'em." Grace said, "The two masters are the strange man who dragged Elina, and the another master is the weird girl about sixteen years old - Luna." She took a breath. "Elina said that the man's name is-"

"Tom." Abigail broke in, the girls were surprised. They almost forgot Abigail was there after all, 'cause she'd been so quite. "Luna told me. Actually guys-, she isn't the one who died in the Ferris Wheel. I'm sorry I lied to you. The real girl who died in the Ferris Wheel is..." She gulped.

"I knew it!" Bianca muttered, taking a step back instantly.

Avery gasped and backed away to the walls of the truck.

"Wait. Guys. What's going on? Who's it?" Grace said, feeling uneasy.

Hera and Elina came back to the truck compartment. "Guys...?" Hera mumbled, realizing a serious atmosphere.

Elina widened her eyes in shock. "Abigail.. You're actually gonna tell them?"

"The one who died in the Ferris Wheel, but who is not actually dead but still alive, is me. Yes, me, Abigail!" Tears glided down to her chin. "I pretended I was coming to the park for a first time when I met you guys... I am the one who made you go to the horror house. I'm the one who locked the doors and took you all to the trap. I was suppose to do that. I couldn't betray my master and my savior Luna! She saved me when the Ferris Wheel collapsed. I lived with her since now. I was just pretending I was captured by master Tom, so that I could lead all of you to the trap Tom made. I'm so sorry guys..." She burst out crying, so the girls couldn't scold her. Infect, their anger melted down immediately.

Elina was the only one who wasn't stunned. "But at least you made me free from being a doll." she whispered to Abigail, padding her back. "You finally betrayed your masters and chose the bright and right side. You're our savior now, Abigail.

"We should get out of this park right now. Before anyone notices!" Hera chimed in, heading back to her driving sit. "Elina? Let's drive."

They started the engine, and the lest four girls waited patiently in the compartment.

"Hope nothing happens. I just hope we could escape form here..." Abigail murmured.

"We can do it. We can get out..." Avery breathed, clenching her fists.

"I hope I'll find my real parents when I get out to the city again." Abigail mumbled.

"We'll help you. We're always with you, Abigail." Bianca said,

"Yeah. Only if you're not fooling us into the trap again." Grace smirked, and the girls laughed uncomfortably.

They were finally out of the amusement park, and they were soon driving on a road, when Abigail trembled violently. She tried to say something, but they couldn't hear. She screamed, as the compartment door burst opened, and Luna and Tom marched into the speeding truck.
