Violet Snow

 "Violet!"called Violet's grandmother. "Come and help me!"

 "Coming!!"answered Violet. She quickly ran to the kitchen, and helped grandmother and aunt cooking for the surprise party of Violet's cousin, Mike.

Violet was a 13 years old girl with a beautiful blue eyes and long blond hair. She wore black glasses. She liked to read, and she was talented at writing and drawing. She received many prices from art or writing contests. Violet lived with her aunt, grandmother, uncle and her younger cousins Mike and Jake. Her father died from cancer when she was 5 years old, and her mother went out of the home after 3 months. She heard that she had married with a rich man, and was living in a big city. Often, Violet thought about her mother. In her memory, her mother was a beautiful woman. Sparkling blue eyes and blond hair, just like Violet herself. Even though Violet didn't have parents, she never felt lonely. Her aunt, uncle, and grandmother were very kind to her. Violet never thought it would be nice to have parents. In fact, Violet didn't like her mother at all. How can a mother just leave her kid and go elsewhere, and never call again? Violet felt angry and betraied when she thought about this.

 "Violet, can you go to the livingroom and see what time it is? It's a surprise party, and I want to prepare the party before he arrives."said Aunt. 

 "I checked it few minutes ago. It was little before 1o'clock, so he'll be back from his friend's house in about 2 hours. We have plenty of time."said Violet. She smiled, as she thought about her cousin astonished by his party.

 "Great!"said the grandmother. :Table is ready, food is ready, all we have to do is just wait until Jake returns."

After Jake's birthday, it was night. Violet threw herself to her soft, cozy bed. She was so tired. Before she even realized, she was falling asleep.

Click! Violet woke up as she heard the sound of front door opening. Was that a theif? Violet thought to herself. She tip-toed out of her room. Grandmother, aunt, and uncle was talking to a tall, woung woman with blond hair and blue eyes, just like Violet's. She gasped, as she realized who she was.

 "Mom..?"
