  •  Hi, I'm Nasil. I'm not sure if you know me, because I'm quite not active in LFEW as I used to be - not that I was very communicating type in the starting ^^

I came back to LEFW (Little Fox English Writing) to post more of my stories and opinions like essays but found that most of the writers or friends who used to be here are gone and very inactive, and I couldn't recognize most of the names.

But mostly, I was stunned at seeing so many letters of unknown users swimming and floating around.

I started little fox in 2018 and discovered LFEW in 2019 (I know, quite late, huh. I didn't even know there was LEFW before.)

In 2019, there used to be a lot of letters like now too, but they're used to a lot of stories and essays at the same time. The letters were approximately 3/5. But these days, I noticed it is 2/3. And the stories or relay novels - oh, relay novels! I don't see them around here much right now. Yeah, some people are still writing relays, but mostly, it's all short stories or jokes... Sure, I'm not saying there aren't long stories the writers wrote devoting their energy and time. Just that there are fewer people than it used to be.

I understand writing short stories and jokes - even communicating friends with letters. There can be users who aren't familiar with English yet, and I appreciate those who are trying their best to write even short phrases. I didn't even write ONE single simple English sentence when I was 11 in Korean age.

Lucky for me, I became a fan of English when I shifted to India - where I'm living right now, and I bet if I was still in Korea, English would have been my worst subject.

Many users quit LFEW because - mostly because - of friendship conflicts. black mailings, and more.

Also many left or quit writing letters when the new rule of writing letter was created.

I saw that many users didn't like using "Dear" before writing the names. Well, I want to tell - that in foreign countries (obviously including America too), putting To. before names are a very old stylish way of addressing a letter. We don't use To. in letters. We instead use Dear Someone* before addressing the name. To. is quite unfamiliar, and instead, using Dear isn't the exact feeling as writing dear in the Korean language. I know if you turn on the translater it translates Dear as Chin-hea-ha-nyn, but NO, it's completely different. Dear is the same as "OO ae-gae," in Korean. Once my best friends translated an English letter they wrote into Korean and gave it to me, starting with... "Chin-hea-ha-nyn Nasil," and I burst out laughing.

Anyways, I just wanted to tell ya'll that using Dear isn't wrong and it not at all sounds like when you say it in Korean. ^^

I think LFEW is an amazing cite... I still couldn't find any other cite where all users can freely upload their stories and opinions and communicate with letters and much more.

    Hope you all are well!

    Byeee ^^
