My Lime Orange Tree
First when i saw this book. i think it's a very funny and bright story. So i enjoyed reading it very much. The main character in this book Jaja, was a strange boy but funny one. He always was troublemaker and such a mischief. But in other sides, I found out he has a kind heart clear young gentle man too. Peoples always say to Jaja. " You mischief!" But Jaja don't mind that anyway.
Jaja like franks. He often fool peoples. But not franks to kill or hurt anyone. Just small franks that sound little brilliant but little wicked too. Jaja is a cute little boy that only 5 years old. But his family think Jaja is a very bad boy. Jaja is not bad. He's just a 5 years old boy that like franks
and like playing. I think Jaja's family is little mean to him. They often hit Jaja. I think hitting is a bad thing. We must not hit other peoples even though we are really angry. But Jaja's family hit Jaja really often. They often hit Jaja's face too. His older sisters Jandira and Lala hit her so badly. I think they have awful temper. How can they hit their little brother brother so hard? But he have on kind older sister too. She's name is gloria. She's really kind to Jaja. And love Jaja dearly. She was specially nice to him when Jaja was sick because of his best friend in the world, Portuga died. Portuga was a really kind person. He bought Jaja many things and bring Jaja to many places. But that was not important to Jaja. The important thing is Portuga gave loved Jaja with all his heart and always care about his feelings. Jaja was so happy because Portuga really and care about him
dearly. Her family's didn't care about Jaja that much. They said Jaja is wicked all the time.
But Portuga always said. Jaja is so good and kind and also so smart. And treated Jaja warmly like his son until the tragic accident struck. One day when Jaja was in the school studying with other
kids, his dearest friend and father and great kind old gentle men died with a awful car accident.
the most big train in this country was passing by. Then suddenly the train struck Portuga's
car. The car smashed and that moment Jaja's favorite person in the world, Portuga died.
This story's end is really sad. First, i was angry. I thought "Why this writer killed Portuga in
the story?" I was really angry i trembled head to toe. " How can he..." I nearly cried.
I thought Jaja and Portuga will leave together being each others favorite person. But it was
not. But, second i thought, "Maybe, the writer want to show us that Jaja's feeling? That
Jaja need love and the person to care about him. It was so sad but good book.
