I think I can be as brave as Malala. It is because if I was in Malala's shoes, I would be desperate to receive education. Many kids hate going to school, but actually you should be thankful because Malala couldn't go to school even though she wanted to. The Taliban did gender discrimination. They thought boys were actually better than girls and it wasn't any good for girls to receive education.
But this is totally not fair. Girls and boys should be treated the same. These days gender discrimination disappeared, but some people still have thoughts that boys are better than girls, which is not true. For example, some people think girls should only choose jobs like nurses, chefs, or other 'womanly' things, and boys should be soldiers, police officers, or other 'manly' things. This doesn't make any sense because I saw male nurses and chefs, and female soldiers and police officers.
If I was Malala, I would have done the exact same thing to maintain world peace and female rights. I would want to receive a proper education, no matter I'm a girl or a boy. I wouldn't want to conceal my face and body with tight, uncomfortable clothing because I am a girl. I wouldn't want to imprison myself in my house because of the Taliban's nonsense. Thus, I would be as brave as Malala to stand up and speak for my rights.
