Blue Magic (Remake version)

Chapter one: Weird dream(1)

"Hey..."

"Hey...!"

"Can you hear me?"

"You know that you're different-"

Perda gasped and sat straight up from her bed. She had a dream- and it was not that pretty.

Cold sweats were beading from her skin, and her face was hot like a boiling lake in Drac. She even got a slight headache and fever, but she tried to shook the feelings off. She hated the feeling sick.

Dream...yes, that weird, unpleasant dream was troubling her these few days. No, not just these days...In her dream, she was caged in somewhere cold and hard. Blue, cold, and stinging magic energy was flying in everywhere, shuddering and dancing madly, as if they were trying to attack Perda. And it followed by cruel laughter- with a light, faint voice...

'CAN YOU HEAR ME?'

Perda shook her head so violently that she got dizzier, but she didn't care.

She would do anything to get away from that stupid, insane dream before she gets in big trouble.

She decided to get ready for school. Packing books and dressing up will put her into sobriety.

She slowly walked out to take a fresh shower.

'Stupid dream.' She thought. A strong stream of water rained down to her face and body to make her cool down.

'It's just a dream, that's all. Don't think about it.' She murmured to herself.

Two years passed since Perda and her friends defeated Morb and the dark side of Magica. After the big affair, their life was very stabled with no trouble, though it was still kind of noisy because of their identity: Heroes who saved Magica.

Their level of awareness got much higher when the whole group (Except for Zann) moved to the First city for a better study, so every single magicians in Magica knew about them.

And at that moment, Perda realized that today was her first day at "First-star magic" academy high school.

Feeling a bit lighter, she picked her favorite outfit (Leather jacket and jeans) and put on a little bit of makeup for a change. With a simple breakfast, she zapped to her school, now ready for the new day- not knowing another incident waiting.

Perda looked around. An enormous structure was standing below the bright blue sky. And at the front of the edifice was a lovely garden with flowers and statues around, and at the center of it was a big fountain carved in white stone.

The Academy looked just like a kingdom in tales or a mansion in a tragic love story, reminding Perda about Gliss.

When Perda was about to walk toward the front gage, she heard shouts and murmurs behind.

"Oh my god. Is that her?"

"Whoa, look how tall she is! I bet she's working as a super model."

"Her hair looks so soft. I wonder what kind of shampoo she'll use!"

"At first I thought she was just a bit pretty, but her mood and individuality are magnificent!"

Perda glanced at the direction where the fuss had started. And she could see a bunch of students standing from a few distance, cheering and taking blink images with spells. Most of them were girls around her age. Perda was aware that she had to react to them, or she'll get in trouble. So she simply waved at them with a smile and hurried away before they ask her for an autograph. She could hear the most of the kids praising and admiring her, but she could also hear some of them gossiping.

"Well, she's uglier than I expected."

"Yeah, I know she's kind of smart or something but...don't you think she's too insufficient to be Zann's girlfriend?"

Zann or Gliss wouldn't bear themselves being backbited, but Perda didn't cared at all. Popularity and dislikes were very familiar to her since 2 years ago.

She thought it was natural to have haters when she got famous, and she could tell that she can bear it well. Whatever the gossips were!

When she finished thinking about her fans, she was already stepping down the corridor. She could still felt some of the kids throwing glances, but she decided to not to use her nerves.

"Perda!"

Just then, Perda heard someone calling her name back behind. As soon as she saw the person, she couldn't hide her smile of joy.

"Zann!"

Perda called him back, delighted to see her best friend. Zann dashed up to her and grinned.

"Did you spent your vacation well?" he asked, slowing his pace down so he could match up with Perda.

"Nah, I just studied a lot as usual." Perda replied.

"Yeah, as I expected." Zann added.

Perda playfully nudged Zann on the arm.

"Let's go."
