I stared at the letter-for me? Who would send me letters-I don't have any friends nor acquaintance. Besides, who use letters these days? Most of us send texts. I checked the sender. No sender. The cover went like this:

Last room of the second floor, 

Seoul Kangnam, Daechi.

'Who knows where I live..? It's creepy..' I thought. I checked the contents. I read it aloud for myself.

HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

Headmaster: Harry Potter

​Dear Ms. Seyoung L, We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

Oh yeah. Who would send a prank letter like this? You got way too much time. Fancy stationary paper. huh? I smirked.

Just then. mom came in. She rummaged my letter without much doubt. "Oh, it's just a prank letter. I wonder who sent it." I glanced at mom. To my surprise, mom was trembling with pale face. Her hand was shaking, holding my letter. "Mom? Are you alright?" I tried to figure out what's wrong. "Yeah, nothing-, I-I gotta go..." Mom picked up the letter and dashed out of my room. What's up with her? I shrugged. I shook the letter paper. Something fall out of it.



HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY UNIFORM

​First-year students will require:

1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)

2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear

3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)

4. One winter cloak (black, silver fastenings)

​Please note that all pupils' clothes should carry name tags

Students may also bring an owl OR a cat OR a toad

​PARENTS ARE REMINDED THAT FIRST YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWED THEIR OWN BROOMSTICKS

Just then, my phone rang. "Hi there grandma!" I said, cheerfully. "Hey Seyoung, how are you doing? 

I was meaning to come to your house tomorrow. Tomorrow is your birthday, isn't it?" "Birthday..? Oh yeah" I almost forgot about my birthday. "I can't wait to see you! Bye~" I hung up. I can't help my corners of my mouth going up. Grandma's coming!

Next day, grandma visited my house early. Me and my brother greeted her excitedly. But mom pretended not to see her.

They are not on speaking terms since I was born. I leaded grandma into my room. She explored my room and asked me tons of questions. At last, she picked up a paper with fabulous decoration. She gasped. I was surprised by her reaction. What's wrong with that prank letter? Grandma as well as mom seemed quite surprised. "S-seyoung...Did you show this paper to mom?" She asked, gasping. "Yes-oh no-she looked it for herself" Just then, she grasped my hand and took me to mom. "H-hannah, give the paper to me-now!" She demanded. Mom seemed confused. "I...I throw it away..." She fumbled. She quickly went to the garbage bin and picked up a dirty, smelly paper. Grandma took my hand. Her hand was very warm. She looked serious. "Well, what's this all about?" A smirking voice said behind. "Seho, this is none of your business!" Mom scowled. "Hannah!," Grandma yelled fiercely. "This is something Seho needs to know to." Mom wriggled her mouth as if she tried to say something, but she didn't. Instead, she buried her face on her hands. At first, I thought she was about to cry. "Now, both of you, there's something you need to know." She started with a soft voice.
