Do you have a hero? If you do who are they? What did they do to save the world? My hero is Malala Yousafzai.Malala is an civil rights leader who is still fighting to get equal education for girls.
Malala Yousafzai was born in Pakistan in July 12, 1997. She is 23 years old. Malala fights for equal education for girls. When she was a child, a evil group named the Taliban. The Taliban didn't want girls to have education. As a result, the Taliban destroyed almost all girl's schools. Malala thought it was unfair and decided to fight the Taliban. As she fought, she and her father got many death threats. But Malala kept on fighting for girl's rights. On October 9, 2012, she was shot by a TTP gunman. She was rushed to the hospital. Luckily, she had survived from the attack! most people would have stopped their fighting if they were shot, but not Malala!
She now has more courage and works even harder to get girls get education.
On 2014, she had got the Nobel Peace prize! She had shared 1/2 of the prize money to donate it to rebuild 65 school is Gaza.
Her prize motivation was: "For their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education." Malala was now, the youngest person ever to get the Nobel Peace Prize! What an honor!
Malala Yousafzai is a great hero who fought for girl's equal right. She is still working to make Pakistan get girl's education and that's why I like her. She is a great role model for me.
