(Short non chapter story)

There was a world called Treaci, and it was located in a galaxy far away from space.

Once upon a time, in Treaci, there was a rich man, Mr. Foms.

He got rich by selling jewels that he discovered in his yard when he was planting beans.

From the money he earned by selling jewels, Mr.Foms bought houses that people could rent. Mr.Foms had so much money from the jewels and collecting rent.

But the houses people rented were located in villages far away from his house.

He was very rich, but he didn’t know how to read Trecano, a language that all people in Treaci uses.

So he drew pictures that only he could figure out there meanings.

One day, a man came to his house to rent a little cabin.

The man said, “I’m here to rent a little cabin Sir.”

Mr.Foms said, “A little cabin? There is one little cabin left. You can rent it with five dollars. The cabin is at Minger

Village, Minger Village is there across that stream.” He pointed at the stream.

Mr.Foms painted a village across the stream, and asked the man, “What’s your name?”

The man said, “My name is Pan Lee.”

Mr.Foms painted a frying pan in his notebook. Mr.Foms thought the man’s first name was similar to a frying pan.

A year later.......

It was time for Mr.Lee(Pan Lee) to return the cabin to Mr.Foms.

Mr.Foms called Mary Ann, his unruly maid;“Mary Ann, you need to go to the village across the big river.”

Mary Ann laughed;“Ha! Ha! There is no village across the big river. Besides, there is no big river here, only a little stream, sir.”

Mr.Foms was surprised and thought ‘Is this unruly girl making a joke? But there really was no big river around there.

I don’t think the painting is wrong......’ and said, stammering, “I mean, um, go to the village across the stream, and tell Mr.Frying pan to come to my house to talk.”

Mary Ann laughed, and thought ‘Mr.Foms is strange today. He doesn’t play jokes usually. But he looks serious.’ and said, “I never heard of Mr. Frying Pan, Sir.”

Mr.Foms said, “Do you remember the man who rented my cabin located across the stream last year?”

Mary Ann asked, “You mean Mr.Lee?”

Mr.Forms clapped his hands together and said, “Oh, now I remember!”

He painted the stream shorter and said, “The stream is too big.”

Mary Ann asked, “The stream is too big?”

Mr.Foms yelled, “I told you to go to Mr.Lee and tell him I want to talk to him!”

Mary Ann went to Mr.Lee and told him Mr.Foms needed to talk to him.

A day later, clever Mary Ann figured out Mr.Foms didn’t know how to read or write. She was unruly and she wanted to teach Mr.Foms a lesson; so she told people about him and people laughed at him. So Mr.Foms learned to read and write.

He learned a lesson from his unruly maid Mary Ann; that knowing how to read and write is more important then being rich.
