Harry Potter and Last War # 30



 Months had passed since Harry became the DADA teacher. Nothing had happened during those times and Harry was indeed enjoying the peaceful days at his first home, Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Most of the students were now used to seeing Harry so the murmuring in the corridor reduced quite a lot. Even though Harry felt a little uneasy because the death eaters were too quiet, he didn't complain. It was good not to have a fight frequently. The school year ended soon and Harry and his three children took the Hogwarts Express and headed home. When they arrived at the Kingscross Station 9 3/4 platform, Ginny was there greeting them.

 "Mom!" Lily shouted and hugged her mom.

 "Hi, mom." Albus and James said.

 "Good to see you all!" Ginny said.

 "Good to see you all too!" somebody said from behind. Everyone turned. There stood Hermione and Ron, grinning from ear to ear, with their own children, Rose and Hugo. While everyone was busy talking to Ron and Hermione, Harry stepped closer to Ginny.

 "Ginny, there is something I want to discuss about with you all." he whispered.

 Ginny understood quickly what Harry meant and nodded silently at him. "Oh, well." she shouted. "Ron, Hermione, will you come to our house today? Let's have dinner together."

 Hermione and Ron agreed and they all went to Harry's home. After finishing the meal, the children went upstairs to play on their own and the adults began talking.

“Muffliato.” Harry said, pointing to the stairs after he made sure all the kids had got upstairs. He turned to the others. “Well, I don’t want them to know about this matter.”

“Okay, so what have you got to tell us?” Ginny asked.

“Um...okay, I invited you two because I have something to say...” Harry began.

“We found out that already, mate.” Ron interrupted.

“Shh. Ron! Don’t cut Harry’s word!” Hermione whispered. “Continue, Harry.”

“Um....well, I think you guys also have noticed that the death eaters are unusually quiet these days. I mean, they used to put up a fight at least once in two weeks before, but now we didn’t have any fight for months! It makes me uneasy.”

“It is true that they are quiet, nowadays. But it is good for us, isn’t it, Harry?” Ron said.

“Um...maybe...but if they are against something big, it can be bad for us.”

“Still, we have that book. So they probably cannot attack us easily. You also heard Draco. It is real and important one.” Hermione said.

“Yeah...” Harry muttered. Indeed, Malfoy helped them to be sure about that book. He told them that his father had lost a spell book and so now all the death eaters went quite crazy. Of course, Draco doesn’t know that they had that book his father lost. Even though it is quite plain that Draco Malfoy is really their side, but just in case, they didn’t tell him.

“Harry, but where are you hiding it, now?” Ginny said slowly. “I mean, I heard that you took it from the ministry.”

“Oh, yeah.” He grinned. “I hid it in somewhere nobody can find. Remember what Hagrid said ages ago? ‘Gringotts is the safest place in the world for anything I want to keep safe, except maybe Hogwarts’. I hid it well in my office at Hogwarts. Because I wanted to look at it frequently while I was there. So, they won’t be able to get it.”

“What???” All three of them gasped. “But now it’s vacation! You won’t be going back to Hogwarts for two months!” Ron shouted.

“Don’t worry. I told McGonagall about it. I mean, I didn’t exactly tell her what it is or where it is. But she stays at Hogwarts even during the vacation. So I told her that there is something important in my office. And she told me that she will alarm me at once if there is an emergency. And besides, I am the head of Aurors office. I will know if the death eater attack Hogwarts.”

“Still. That make me quite uncomfortable. It feels like that is not being well protected.”

“Talking of that spell book, Harry.” Ron said. “Do you have something you found out more?”

“Um.....actually, no. But now I can memorized most of the spells. And I found out what seems to cause you that damage.” Harry said looking at Ron, who it almost perfectly well by now. “It is called medicabil vulnera. Well, ‘immedicabile vulnera’ means irreversible wounds in Latin, so I think it came from there. It can make a real irreversible wounds. The book said that if you hit by it properly you can end up dead right after. I think that spell fortunately missed you a little, Ron.”

Meanwhile, in the Malfoy Manor. There was silence among the death eaters around the table. Lucius Malfoy is doing that locating spell again and obviously, he ordered every death eaters to shut up.

“Ugh!” he shouted suddenly. Every death eaters stared at him.

“What’s wrong Malfoy?” asked Dolohov.

“That Potter put that book in Hogwarts! And it is almost impossible for us to go inside there!” he shouted, full of rage.

“Relax, Lucius. There will be some way to get it back.” his wife, Nacissa Malfoy said.

“Hmm......” Belatrix seemed to be thinking hard. “But I have a question. Why do we have to get that book back?”

“Because if Potter have that spell book, he will use it as a weapon against us! There are many cruel, violent, and strong spells there.”

“Come to think of it. If Potter have that book, do you think he will just push it aside and don’t take a look at it? Well, I don’t think so. It is obvious that Potter will study it and he might memorize some spells! If then, it won’t make no change even if we get it back.” she shouted.

“So what? Just give up? You want to give up Potter?” Rowle said angrily.

“Of course no.” she said coldly. “I can’t and will not give up capturing Potter and killing him. It is my last wish to finish him off!!! I am just saying that we don’t have to get that book back.”

“If he has the book, it is too difficult to win him. He can use many spells from it and if he tells those to his friends....” mummered Rookwood.

“Did you hear me or not? If we don’t erase his memory, it is no use even if we get it back!”

“But...it can be useful to us if we can get our hands on it.”

Bellatrix sighed. “If you want the book that much, go and fetch it yourself. If you do that, I will make traps for Potter and make him stay away from his friends. That way, even if you fail to bring that book we can easily win him. Because, although he knew many useful spells, he will be alone while we are many....”
