The next day, I went to town like usual with Eve. But something was different. Thanks to the necklace, I could hear all the sounds of animals. I liked the sound of birds chirping, but it was going to make me annoyed now because now, I know that they are talking.

This, is the common talking I heard today. Today, I wore a scarf around my neck because of the necklace. It is so bright that everyone will ask me what it is, and what if someone took it? It's terrible to think about it. Well, I am protecting it with my scarf, so I think I don't need to be worried about it.
Mabel and Josh were waiting at the town. I hurried over to them. Mabel waved to me.
"Hello! Did you wait for a long time? If you did, I'm sorry. It was hard to come here because I can..." I stopped myself at that moment because I didn't want to expose the secret of the necklace now, with many people walking nearby.
"Because I can...What?" asked Mabel. I put my finger on my lips, saying "BE QUIET" and I pulled them into the forest. After pulling them into the middle of the forest so nobody will hear what I am going to say.

"Really? Is that real, Elena?" Mabel asked me again, and I nodded.
"Can you hear what the animal say right now?" asked Josh. I closed my eyes, and concentrate on the sounds. "Yes, I can hear squirrels including Acorn asking each other `How many acorns did you collect?`''
Josh and Mabel stared at me. Then, Mabel asked me to give her the necklace. So, I gave it to her, and she put it. The color became black, and she closed her eyes and did nothing for a minute.
"Uh...Miss Mabel? What...What are you doing...?" It was Josh who broke the silence. Mabel opened her eyes and frowned.
''Huh, I was trying to hear what animals say like Elena, but the sound I can hear was only you and Elena blinking and Eve yawning. I guess its another special ability that the owner of the necklace can do." said Mabel.
So...Does that means that only I can hear the sound of animals?
`Yes, you do Elena.` someone said near us. I stood up and looked around.
"Errr...Elena, what are you doing now?" asked Mabel.
"Are you okay, Miss?" said Josh, worried. (I don't know, but he always calls us 'Miss'. He's so polite!)
"Yes, I think so. But..." I sat down still looking around.
`Elena, I am talking. Eve!` said someone. I looked at Eve who was asleep before in my lap. He was looking at me. I gasped and stood up again.
"You..You talked to me? What..." I looked at Eve for a second and blinked. ''Oh yes! I forgot that I can hear sounds of animals! It's so confusing to me now."
"What are you talking about? Did Eve did something?" Mabel looked at Eve who was yawning.
"I'm sorry, everyone. I heard someone talking to me, but it was Eve. I'm still not used to hearing the animal language. I feel to myself, I am amazing every time I can hear them talking."
"It's okay, Miss Elena. I think I would be surprised at this situation if I was you, too. But, it's still okay as long as you are safe. Do you feel good with the ability?" Josh asked.
"Hmm...I think it has both advantage and disadvantage. It's good that I can hear and understand the animal's language, but it's just annoying to hear everything they say. I can't concentrate on something because of the noise."
