Dear Mr. Sherlock Holmes,

I am Thorneycroft Huxtable. I am the headmaster of the priory School.

Why am I writing this letter? Because the son of the Duke of Holdernesse has been kidnapped. 

I will say about the boy.

1.The boy was a recent arrival at the school. 

2.And he had been brought to the school by the duke's secretary. 

3.The boy had gone missing the night of the thirteenth of May. 

4. And the boy's room was located on the second floor. And a search of his room revealed that the boy had slept in his bed and that he had left fully dressed. The room showed no signs of a struggle, so it seems that the boy had perhaps known his kidnapper.

5. Before his disappearance the boy didn't have any visitors. He received a letter from his father. 

6. His father was always kind to the boy. But the boy was closer to his mother.

And after the boy's disappearance, the German teacher and his bicycle were also missing. An inspection of the teacher's room had revealed that he had only been partially dressed.

There has been official investigation, but the police thought the German teacher's missing bicycle was a trick. And that they had left by some other means, and that's why the police were looking for them in Liverpool.

Besides the duke wants to avoid a scandal.
