  • (I will re-update it for the last time. If this goes well,I won't re-update it again. Just to keep mine tidy.)

When Beth returned to her home,Mr.Christophe was playing a song that she never heard before.

He finished playing, and turned his head. "Oh,you've returned."

"What was that song? I never heard it before."

    "It's a song that I wrote today,finishing my month of ideas. It's called,'Reunion'."

Beth thought of it and realized it expressed the meeting of the keys. They meet, cross, and go apart in the song.

"You see,the reason I made this is the same reason I have nowhere to go. I have no family.

Do you know that there's another world, unlike here beyond our life?

People who came here did good deeds a lot,but people who did not much good deeds could get the other one.

My realatives were almost gone from here, and others are still in the worse, other world. My family line was broken.

The only remaining realative has too far realation from me."

Well, maybe Joy's side must be sad because she wanted to have a real family. But,this side was worse.

Knowing that the person has a family, but when the person can't meet others,it becomes sadder situation.

Beth said nothing. Just then,Joy walked in with Bertha.

    "We're back!" She called.

"I suppose you had a good time then. Let's share stories." Beth sat on her chair, and the newcomers did too.

Both sides shared stories about the annual visit. And both sides listened with great interest.

"Well, time goes fast, and before long, people there had gone ages." Beth said after they finished sharing stories.

"When we saw people flow with time and we're not,it's like our time is staying forever.

By the time we go back, they'll come here. Ages passed."

"Yes,and it is the curse of the world. We won't get old, when the people we know do." Bertha agreed.

Both sides had gone to each other's home once. And,they both knew that their homes were peaceful.

After some talking,Mr.Christophe interrupted. "It's very late. I hate to interrupt, but it's bedtime."

"Well then." Joy yawned. "I think I'll go to bed."

Beth and Bertha both tuned in as well.

The next day, they packed some food into a basket.

After the annual visit, they were willing to go to a slum town, and bring some provisions to the people there.

"It seems that she has to learn how to help others early."

Bertha had wispered to Beth one day,and Beth had agreed to that.

So,Joy was following them this time.

They floated across the town and landed within minutes.

Right away,Joy noticed that people here looked some kind of...Different.

They were not happy as the people she knew around the area.

And certainly, they looked much poor(Well, not in the physical, but on spirits).

"I don't understand how this works, but it seems that ones who did a lot of good work won't live here.

But,these people were not able to help others, they are still having a miserable life here."

"Hmm... Then, why don't we make the place more comfortable,by having assistance from the wealthy neighborhood?" Joy asked.

"I don't think you're not old enough to know people's personalities.

It could be possible,if they thought that all of their profits could do it.

But,they thought it was too much, and gave up."

"Okay, then all we need is to bring the wealthy people to one place. Then,I think this could be settled."

Beth was confused. "I can't do that. I don't like everyone blaming me if it goes wrong,and..."

"And what? I would take care all of that, but what's the matter?"

"I'm... I'm too shy to do things like that. It just makes my face flushed a lot."

"Okay,if it's too hard, then I'll ask her for help." With that,Joy walked to her grandmother.

Bertha,on the other hand, had courage enough,so they invited the people to one of the houses for a 'party'.

That evening, the people who were invited were there.

But,who had invitations to all of the people?

It was quite strange to say,but it was the cousin of the Shirley's,who was not known in the eastern lands.

One of them was a successful miner, who got lots of money by gold mines.

That person recently got aquainted with Bertha, because he did many good deeds and respected Walter Shirley.

True,he had some money, but he never had knowledge that others like.

And,he did donated his money to the town community center, for a library where children could read.

He was known as 'the unknown educator of the west town'.

Now,he was still doing good deeds for poor, and help them get better.

Actually, that was the appropriate reason to choose his mansion.

When the party started, there was a ball coming the first turn to lighten the spirits.

(It was a British dance, though. The Shirleys were from Canada, where great Britain ruled partly.)

After that,it was time for the announcement about the reason why they had invited.

The people watched in silence as the owner od the house spoke.

They were listening to him now.

After his announcement,he added," Would anyone like to join me?"

There was a murmur over the whole guests, but none dared to come foward to volunteer.

suddenly, there were voices. "Oh,come on. We see the fact, and have offer to join."

It was some of the children of the town who were between 3 to 6. Joy had commanded them to come somehow.

"We know all,but can't you just volunteer?"

"Just step on front, and everything will be settled."

"No worries. The harmony of your opinions could change the whole slum town."

The adults were shocked to see that the children were talking clearly.

It was almost impossible for the job. Well, not really.

They repeated and practiced the sentence under Joy's command when they were gathered.

That was the reason why they sounded clear.

"Oh,please. Everyone step in front, and raise your hand to volunteer. Count on three. One,two, three,"

Joy shouted as the adults all raised their hands at once.

"It's a miracle. Now a kid's act changes the whole village and town!" Beth thought.

"I believe in these, but I never expected changes would come by things I never had."

Now,the owner of the house began speaking again.

"Now,if you volunteered, come to the slum village the next day to discuss plans!"

People cheered. Now,it was time for happiness to be placed all over this part of the world!

P.S. I have a special confession to make.

    I wrote Mr.Christophe's song as the title,[Reunion].

But the truth is,that song is the piano New age that 'I'm making'.

I think it contains maybe 4 pages. I think this one reminds me of beautiful tunes.

(Well,Mr.Christophe is writing classics, and I write New age. But I added it anyway.)
