    Chapter one: Little Apple

*Wow, I didn't wrote novel for about four months! Sorry for that. Now, I'll try to write more often. Then, please enjoy my novel!

     Library.
It is such an interesting place. When the sun is up, it's really quiet. Only the sound of flipping pages of books are heard. But when the moon replaces the Sun, it becomes extremely noisy. Books love to talk. When they are returned to library, they talk about who borrowed them and what happened. Of course, people have no idea that books are so talkative.

This is not the only thing that people don't know about books. People usually call books by their title, but books call each other by the feature of them. For example, the book I'm going to talk about today, is a book called 'Little Apple.'

Little Apple is a small book that teaches children alphabet. And she is always proud of her job.
"Their's nothing more important than teaching alphabet. Without alphabet, books can't exist!" this is what she always says.
But today, when Boring Blue found Little Apple, she was...crying! Boring Blue, like other books, never seen Little Apple crying. So he couldn't even imagine what had happened to her!
"Uh, Little Apple?" Boring Blue said carefully as the librarian left. "Is there something wrong? You don't look well."
Before Boring Blue could end his word, Little Apple started sobbing again. A romance novel named Juliet approached Little Apple.
She clasped her hand-if you could call it a hand-and said tragically, "Oh, poor Little Apple! Not a single word to say...you must have broke up...(Boring Blue scowled her, but she ignored him.) What a misery! I can understand you even if you just tore him off..."
"I don't think that's not the thing happened to Little Apple. Unless she was like you." Boring Blue was now glaring at Juliet. "Little Apple, please tell us what made you so sad."

Little Apple sniffled and opened her mouth slowly. "It all happened when a boy borrowed me. Well, he didn't look young, but I thought he's just borrowing me for his sister or brother. When the boy reached home, he started to heat up some soup-a carrot soup." She shuddered. Carrot was Little Apple's least favorite food, I mean letter. Of course, Little Apple never eaten carrot before, but she just hated. And nobody knew why.
"I endured the terrible smell that was approaching me..Then, the boy picked me up. I wished he'd just live me alone but he didn't! And the most terrible thing happened."
Now everyone was listening to Little Apple with concern-except Juliet, who looked excited. She likes to see someone in trouble.
"He......he....put the bowl full with soup over me! That was my most disgraceful time in my three book-years."
There are some things that books hate a lot. And using books as a saucer was one of them. To people, it's like being a cushion for someone.
Little Apple showed some marks on her pastel colored cover. You could identify hose marks well.
"And when the Librarian spotted these marks and asked the boy about them, he just said it was there from the first place!'

While everyone was listening with their mouth dropped, someone said, "but why did he borrowed Little Apple? He can use his own book."
This made the books more noisy. A pale book shouted, "he might be a spy from other library!"
The library was still noisy with conservation when the sun was starting to rise.
