Do you know NFT? It's a new word that was made and selected as 'a new word of this year' in the world.
NFT is a shrotened word of 'Non-Fungible Token'. It is a Token that has limited number,and it's a virtual property.
This NFT uses the Blockchain technology,but it has its own identification code.
In addition,it is a virtual property that can't change the Blockchain's Token into other Token.
This makes clear about the owner of the property. Like a game,an art to any kind,or even a RealEstates. Only that those properties became digital Token(of course,it's not real).

NFT is based on the Blockchain,so the information about who is the owner,and the traces of trading it records and downloads on the Blockchain.
So,unlike any Cyber security or property,it can't be hacked,and it can't be tricked by a counterfeit ones. And if other virtual property like Bitcoin,Altcoin,has the same value by the kinds of them,NFT has its own value,one by one because it has its special recognition value.
So you can trade Bitcoin to another single Bitcoin,but if NFT is involved,it can't be possible because each NFT has its own recgonition value.

The start of NFT is 2017,when a company named 'Dapper Labs' invented a game called,'CrptoKitties'. The way if this game is that users breed the NFT-typed cats to make a new cat of their own,which can be rare.
Especially,it got people's attention when a rare cat was traded as 110 thousand dollars at the end of 2017.
This company is now got hands in NBA from 2020,and now made a limited NFT of the videos that captured the highlights of the famous sport stars' plays. It is in the platform service called,'NBA Top Shot'.

NFT can give a title of 'limited',and 'only' to a virtual property. So,it's spreaded quickly in digital art,online sports,and trading game items. For instance,an digital artist named 'Beeple' made a video clip,and it could be watched freely in online. But in NFT,it was sold in 6.6 million dollars. Even the wife of the CEO Eilon Musk,a singer named Grimes,sold her digital art(using NFT technology) online,and it was all sold in 20 minutes,by 5.8 million dollars. It caused a wave of attention.

Of course,there were some objections about it. Some say that it is ridiculous to buy a thing that can't be used in real life. They say 'what is the meaning of that in fake life,if it has no value or use in reality'. And others say that the value of the things has been 'considered as too high price'.
Still,it is a hot issue in economics of selling an authority to owning the object,like a first twit in Twitter.
Also,it is still a good way to prove the owner of things. And it is an important part in Cryptocurrency.
