My best time

#7 What should I do? Elinor's Choice!

"Oh, oh.. Afaf! I really want to come. But wait a second. I have another really important thing to do." Elinor said.

"But you must come now or we'll miss the plane!" Afaf said. She sounded worried.

"Afaf. I will think a second and call you. I am so sorry. Please. My friend is missing." Elinor said. She was almost crying.

"I understand you Elinor. We have 10 minutes left before we depart." Afaf replied.

"Thanks." Elinor mumbled and hung up. 



'Oh, no. I really want to visit France and play with Afaf. It will be so much fun. But I must help Torin. Torin is gone! Something terrible must have happened... Oh, god help..' Elinor thought.  She was in grave decion

Elinor sat down in her bed. She lay down and thought. 

'It's normal to help a friend if he is in grave danger. But It's normal to go to play with my best friend in another world. Oh what should I do I can't believe it.' 

Elinor didn't know what to do. She wanted to do what she want, but she had to do what she should.

Ding ding ding diddi ding ding ding ding dang (Telephone bell rings)

It was from Sanjay.

"What?" She mumbled.

"Is something wrong now?" Sajay asked, worried.

"Oh no what are you going to say?" Elinor asked.

"Come to the playground right away. We are going to start 'Torin searching'. " Sanjay said.

"Oh no. No. My best friend, Afaf called me that I can come to go visit France when she leaves. Oh what should I do?" Elinor asked. 

Sanjay was getting angry of Elinor.

"We helped you to meet your best friend again. And now you are not helping us and going to go really far away to play with your friend? How can you betray us? You need to help us search for TORIN!" Sanjay shouted.

"No. No I am not talking about that I don't know what I have to do." Elinor tried to explain.

"What? How can you be like that in that so simple thing? Of course you should help TORIN!" Sanjay shouted to the top of his lungs. He sounded mad at Elinor.

"I am not trying to betray you. What will you feel if you have a best friend that going away and this is my last chance to travel with her? Oh I won't try to do only what I want oh oh please. Let me think for a second." She pleaded and hung up.

"I never knew time was so precious to me before this happened. I now understand time. Time is a really valuable thing. Oh... How could I spend my best thing, time like this and make the time twist! Oh, my best time!" Elinor cried out to herself.

After a few seconds, she finally made up her mind.

She called Afaf.

"What is it? Are you coming with me? Or are you going to help your friend?" Afaf asked.

Elinor felt her throat whimper when she heard Afaf's voice.

"Oh Afaf....... I am so sorry but I think I should help my friend."
