"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  The casters of KBS, MBC, and SBS all screamed out of their lungs when Shim Sukhee and Choi Minjeong collided and fell in the Short Track 1000-meter-race finals in the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games. They were all like, how could this happen? They were the two top aces of the Korean Short Track Women's Team, and they've provided some excellent teamwork before, like the 3000-meter-relay! Basically what happened is that Shim went into the in-course next to Choi, but their bodies got tangled up. And Choi went in first place and Shim got a penalty. 

  A much bigger incident happened later on, so it was kind of forgotten by most of people. And Choi claimed gold medal in the 1500m final, so it looked like it was just one big accident. Shim did apologize to Choi in the rink, and Choi seemed to take it.

  But last December, a huge scandal came out featuring Shim as one of the culprits. Apparently what happened is that she and her no-good pyscho coach shared text messages that completely dissed Choi Minjeong and Kim Alang, her fellow teammates. Even though she probably did it just to not have fists taken by her coach (who, by the way, did some violent things to her since she was just a teenager), it can't be ignored that she ditched all sportsmanship. Even though Kim didn't seem really upset by Shim's actions, Choi decided to practically end she and Shim's connections. Shim tried to apologize countless times, but Choi thought that was just Shim's another evil way to stress her out. Maybe that's the reason why Shim didn't show up in the semifinals of Women's 3000m Relay, even though she was in the entry list. But she joined in the finals anyway, and won the gold medal.

  During medal ceremony, Shim looked real off, even though all her other teammates (Choi, Kim, Seo Whimin, and Park Jiyoon (Lee Yubin didn't join due to her health issues) were smiling broadly and placed medals in each other's necks. But Kim came to the rescue and told Seo to place Shim's medal in her neck. And Seo obeyed.

  Even though Shim's scandal couldn't be forgiven that easily, she did try to apologize and a part of why the scandal got so big is because netizens completely dissed Shim, as though they were the ones who was dissed by Shim in a text. Shim didn't show her full potential in the 2022 Championships. She must've been stressed—by the way, she sobbed her eyes out after getting out of the car to go into training center. Her career was kind of bent when the scandal came out, but I hope she'll apologize truely and Choi would eventually forgive her. They're the two most greatest skaters in the Women's Team, and I kind of don't want them fighting every time they see each other.
