After Reading Warriors Super Edition: Tallstar's Revenge

There were times when WindClan had Moor Runners, and Tunnelers. Moor runners are like what WindClan does nowadays, chasing rabbits on the moor. Tunnelers were cats who dug underground, being able to hear other Clans by digging underground, and making tunnels to escape when something dangerous happened. This is a story about a young cat who wanted to be a tunneler. Tallstar's past was quite adventurous. Tallstar was born when Heatherstar ruled WindClan. When Heatherstar got his nine lives from StarClan, Mothflight tells her 'a cat who will have to seek far beyond the confines of your territory to discover where his heart truly lies'. When Tallkit was little, a kit named Shrewkit,teased him 'Wormkit' because his parents were Tunnelers. Tallkit doesn't like this. But Barkkit helps him ingores Shrekit. When Tallkit tried tunneling, he fell in, and he got hurt. But he thinks he is supposed to be a Tunneler. When he got apprenticed, Heatherstar chooses Dawnstripe for his mentor, who was a moor runner. But his parents and some others say Tallpaw should be a tunneler. Shrewpaw teases him again, now saying that he should be Wormpaw. One day, When Tallpaw goes on a patrol, he makes a mistake of trying to attack cats who are going to Mothermouth. He tries not to make any more mistakes, so he doesn't report even he smelled strange sent on WindClan territory. After a few minutes, the patrol realized that a whole group of ShadowClan cats trampled across the moor to WindClan camp. Tallpaw realized that he should have reported it. When they arrived at camp, the ShadowClan cats were attacking the camp, and ShadowClan won. At the battle, Shrewpaw's mother died, and Tallpaw gets very sad saying it's his fault that she died, because he didn't report. Shrewpaw gets furious, and they don't be good friends for a while. When it turns greenleaf, Tallpaw learns that there are greenleaf visitors in WindClan, that were secret to the other Clans. They were loners, called Sparrow, Bess, Mole, Renna, Algeron. He enjoys spending time with the visitors. One day, when his father, Sandgorse, and Sparrow goes in the tunnels, a accident in the tunnel, that dirt and water was too much and Sandgorse was dead, but Sparrow escapes, Tallpaw gets furious, thinking Sparrow left him behind to die, even Sparrow tells him there was too many water and dirt to save him. Tallpaw becomes in a terrible mood, and he gets very mean, and says Sparrow killed his father. When his mother had kits with another cat, Tallpaw thinks she betrayed Sandgorse, And Tallpaw decides to be a tunneler, thinking that it is his destiny. But Heatherstar declares that there will be no more tunneling in WindClan, Tallpaw becomes really disspressed. After the greenleaf visitors left, he earns his warrior name, Talltail, he still wasn't happy, and tells the Clan that he will leave, and goes to the Twolegplace, and go search for Sparrow to avenge his father's death. He begins following his sent, but he accidentally eats a poisoned mouse, but luckily a kittypet named Jake finds him, and his housefolk takes him to the vet. Luckily, he survived(?) the poison, and he get taken care of by Jake's housefolk, but Talltail was desperate to get out of the twoleg den. So Jake makes a plan, saying if Talltail look like he is fully recovered, and rub his face to the twoleg's leg, the twoleg will let him go outside. Jake's idea works, and Talltail tells Jake he is on a important mission, and gets ready to leave. Jake begs Talltail to let him come with him, but Talltail says he can only follow to the end of the twolegplace. And they meet some kittypets, but goes on their way. But Talltail decides that Jake can follow him, they go to search for Sparrow. While they makes the journey, Talltail teaches Jake about the Clans, and teaches him to hunt. Jake learns very well, and Talltail gets very impressed. When they finds the roughs' scent, they follows it, and finally, they finds the roughs. When they finds the roughs, they stays with them, hunting and chatting. But Talltail knows that he has to avenge his father, and one day, he calls Sparrow to hunt with him, and they goes to the edge of the thunderpath. And he tells Sparrow that he is here to avenge his father, and that he is going to kill Sparrow because he killed his father. But after a few arguments, Sparrow confesses to him that Sandgorse saved his life, holding the dirt so he can escape. Talltail believes him, knowing that it is exactly what Sandgorse will do. Talltail and Sparrow goes back to the rough's camp, and then Jake and Talltail will leave. They becomes very sad to see their friend leave, and they tell him that they wouldn't be visiting WindClan next greenleaf. After they said goodbye, they set out, and they finally return home, Jake goes back to his housefolk, and Talltail goes back to WindClan. Talltail and Jake will not forget each other, and they were best friends forever, even I didn't express their friendship a lot in this book report. When Talltail arrives in WindClan, when he is on his way to camp, he finds his mother's kits, and sees that a hawk is about to attack them, and kills the hawk. The kits were very glad that he saved them, and Talltail gives them a ride to camp. When he arrives to camp, everyone becomes glad because that Talltail is back, and they become very impressed that he caught a hawk. After coming back, Talltail's normal life returns, and he runs on many important duties, like going to RiverClan to ask for herbs, and battling with ShadowClan when they attacked. When ShadowClan attacked, Shrewclaw dies, trying to avenge his mother, and tells Talltail to avenge his mother for him. After a few moons, Talltail becomes the leader of WindClan. When he goes to get his nine lives from StarClan, he meets his father, Sandgorse, and he tells him that he really did save Sparrow's life. He gave Talltail a life for forgiveness, saying no death need ever be avenged and forgiveness brings peace far more surely than vengeance. So Talltail becomes known as Tallstar, and Sandgorse also tells him that there will be a kit, kin of Tallstar's friend, who will need your help more than he knows, and that Tallstar should watch over him, guide his paws, for he is important to all the Clans. Tallstar becomes surprised, knowing that Jake will father kits. And Tallstar promises his father that he will always remember. After reading this book, I think everything doesn't work well with revenge. So we should always try to revenge and avenge, because we should hold peace. My favorite seance in this book is when Tallstar gets his nine lives from StarClan. At that seance, Tallstar meets his father, and he becomes to know that Sparrow was right, and I am very glad that he learned that he shouldn't try to avenge and revenge too much. And another reason I like that seance is because I know figured out that Jake's son was Firestar. I think it must have been hard for Tallstar to guide Firestar's paws, because Firestar belonged in a different clan. But I don't be disappointed that Firestar belongs in ThunderClan, because Firestar had been a great leader in ThunderClan, and Tallstar trusted Firestar, even though they belonged in different clans. It must have been nice to see Jake's son, because it reminded him of Jake, but I think it might have been hard, because it made him miss Jake. After reading this book, I think I learned a lesson not to revenge too much. I think I should learn to forgive, and to forget about what had happened.
