Under The Stairs#1

Professor Steven

  Laura was writing some notes at her textbook at school, when her best friend Olive came to her.

  "Hey, what are you doing?" Olive asked to her.

  "Just taking some notes," said Laura, still writing notes.

  "It's recess, and you can't be just writing that forever. Let's go out," Olive said.

  "Okay, I will. But you know that exam is coming up? You'll need to study soon," Laura said to Olive, who was walking to the door.

  "Ah, don't talk about exams right now! You're so in studies," Olive made a face.

  As they walk on the hallways, Olive suddenly asked,

  "Laura, do you like our professor, Professor Steven?"

  "Yes, I don't hate him of course. Why do you ask that so suddenly?" Laura answered and then asked to Olive, confused.

  "Just curious. I don't like him though," Olive said.

  "Why?" asked Laura, surprised by her friend's response.

  "He's so boring and realistic. He seems to live in his own world. Besides, he's too old to understand our age and things. You remember when he scolded Kaylee for her clothes? It was really fancy and trendy, and everyone was fascinated by her fashion. And Professor Steven, said it was very crazy! I bet he's crazy .. " Olive said, too excited.

  "Okay, okay. I got your point, Olive. Don't be too annoyed by him. He is just a professor and he is doing his duty. Still, I understand you." Laura said, trying to calm down Olive.

  "I sometimes can't understand you. You are always too calm about everything! You're lucky that you are very smart and kind student. Professor Steven don't scold you with anything. You see, he is angry with everything we do!" said Olive.

  "Thanks. Professors all like his or her students! I'm sure he likes you, too. Don't think like that!" Laura smiled.

  The bell rang, and they went back to class where Professor Steven was standing at the front, waiting for his students to sit down.

  "Everyone, sit down please. I have an announcement for this class," He said, in his husky voice,"I noticed some students talking about their professors yesterday at school. They were using very bad words, and were insulting our professors. I need to get this right, but I will just pass this time since it's the first time. But when I hear anyone talking like that, I will take off your 10% of grades. Okay?"

  The class moaned.

  "Professor Steven? But I disagree with that opinion since I think .. " Lucas started to say.a

  "No more sayings about this. This is what I decided, no complains. Got it? Well then, let's start with our lesson .. " He stopped Lucas, and started the lesson.

  Laura could hear Olive and other students moaning at the back quietly. They are probably annoyed with him, Laura thought and began concentrating on the class.

+ Long time no see, everyone! I just wanted to take some little rest for writing stories since I ran out of ideas what to write. Anyway, since I came back here, I'll write novels and letters from now on regularly, so don't worry! Plus, I hope you guys will enjoy my new series "Under The Stairs" =)
