Then,Robert thought of something. "Wait,what if she doesn't do as you guessed?"
"Ah,that is another matter. This is only my guessing. I see that Linda doesn't like the spotlight. Certainly,she knows that where there's praise,there is jealousy. So if this goes on,with Linda in the insider group,she cannot take it,and she will eventually drop out." Nick answered.
Robert trusted Nick,but tucking Linda in was too hard,in thoughts. "Well,there are some problems,as I think about it. Why do you think she could be on our side? As you know,with you and her in the same projects,the spotlight will be double than being on Melanie's team."
"That's what I had thought about it. But I don't think she would refuse at that. Because,unlike Melanie Floss,I am capable to get the spotlight to me,mostly. I was on top of this school before she did,remember? I can manage the spotlight."
"Well,then,she's the only girl,even if she does enter in our side."
"Oh,no worries. That is simple. We just need to add another girl. The time will come for that."
"Lastly,why are you thinking about getting her in our side?"
Nick had to think of a moment to let all the explanations flow. "It's better to get the best one as on our side,rather than placing the one to be the opponent. Plus,if she is here,this is going to be fine,just you know."
Well,Robert Lemonica knew it was true. This class had been divided to several sides. Nick Patterson stood on one of those sides,and Melanie Floss on another.
There were no arguments between those sides. It's just that,this is turning into something strange. (It's true about things like these in real-writer's note)
But,it was noticeable that Linda got into Nick's head,since he admitted that she is now better than him. But Robert had no intention to tell it to his friend.
"Okay. Then when do you think we'll have an opportunity?" Robert asked.
"Only time will tell." Nick had answered mysteriously.

The answer for that came out simply than they thought. Linda was indeed,not wanting any spotlight. So,after 2 weeks,Robert saw Linda telling something to Melanie,honestly yet her face looked serious.
He got curious,and eavesdropped a bit.
"Well,this is what I have to say. I cannot take it anymore,and I have to leave this,somewhat,group." Linda Marten said.
"Why?" Melanie asked.
"I saw that I can't be under the spotlight,for tons of reasons. Now I think I succeeded your dream as to get much attention as you wanted. Now,it's time for me,only me,to get off from the attention.(I described attention from people as 'spotlight'. Did you know?) So,I announcethis in front of you."
Melanie didn't refuse,as she liked to act cool. So,Robert noticed that Linda was off from Melanie Floss.
At lunchtime,Robert wispered to Nick. "The opportunity is here."
"Alright."
"I had feared to ask you this,but do you think Linda will be fine? As you know,a student who got off from Melanie,got a terrible end. That's why she is called 'Evil shadow'." Robert asked.
Nick looked surprised,but said calmly,"Nope. That's not possible. She can't crush me,or Linda. A person honest and smart can't be her prey at all. Even if she did,I can stop it,or Linda herself can. As I say,smart ones know the facts."
So,they went to Linda Marten to out her in their side. Actually,at first,Linda looked too shocked to say anything. Linda said No,and told the same questions Robert gave.

With that,Linda was fully convinced,and she agreed,finally. Linda Marten was on their side.
