Stuck On You_Prologue
It was a sunny day. The sunlight was shining brighty, heating the ground that was filled with fresh-green grasses and colorful, full bloomed flowers. "What a nice weather. I hope I can fly across that fluffy clouds" I said with a soft sigh. But Flen just stayed quite, looking up at the clear blue sky with some kinds of dreamy look on her face. And It was pretty confusing for me to see Flen daydreaming on the middle of the street. Cause when they hang out together, Flen was always the more realistic one. And I was always the one who spended the most of time, daydreaming.
"Flen?" I said, waving my hands infront of Flen's face. Flen got startled and said smiling bashfully. "Oh, What..? Sorry, I wasn't really listening. I was just...thinking 'bout something else a little. What did you say..?" I smiled back and said. "Never mind that. It's nothing important. Anyway, what did you think about? You know, you hate daydreaming while crossing streets.
Don't you remember? You even hate watching phones while crossing the street!" But to my surprise, Flen's face darken and she looked a lot more serious then before. And she whispered to my ears with a tiny voice. "You promise that you won't tell anybody else?" "Of course I won't! So, what is it? There's no secrets between us, you know that" I said with a little smile, trying to break this strange atmosphere. She hesitated for a moment and leaned more close. "I...Uh..I like.....Lucas"
"Wait, what?" I shouted out so loud that my voice echoed through the whole street. And when I saw a terrified look on Flen's face, I desperatly looked around to see anyone was there. "Sorry...I didn't mean to say this loud..." I mumbled, looking at the ground, regretting bitterly of what I had just done.
To my surprise, Flen just let a little sigh and continued speaking. "It's okay. I mean..I know Lucas and you have been friends for more then ten years. And I had no doubt that you'll be really surprised when you hear this. Of course, I'm not asking you to support me to go out with him or something. I even don't know that I really want to date him or not. So..Just please keep it as a secret." Even after Flen finished her speak, I kept my eyes on the ground. Not knowing what to say. Flen likes Lucas? That Lucas that I've been known for ages? Of course, Lucas was just a friend to me. No more or less. But I somehow felt a little strange.
