Old friendship

"Hey, you recognize me?" Derick said with a chuckle. "I didn't expected this one, it's quite touching, Sabrina."

Sabrina was dumbfounded for a second, and after a moment she realized that she was practically hugged by him, she jerked back from him. Her cheeks turned a little pink, embarrassed.

"How-are you okay?" Sabrina asked him. Derick was one of her friends in school, that was known by his friendly pranks and outspoken style of conversation. He was close with Sabrina among the boys. She was surprised to meet him in here, but still very glad to see him alive. After all, he saved her, quite.

"Yeah, as you can see." Derick said. "I guess you are fine too?"

Sabrina nodded. "I mean, it's really good to see you! Uh, and thanks, too."

Derick nodded. "Yeah, but you'll be more happy when you see him." He smirked. "Come out, bro!"

Sabrina turned her head where Derick was watching, and behind a big box, a boy came out of view.

"Jude?" Sabrina said with a little laugh.

"Yep, are you okay, Sabrina? It's really good to see you here!" Jude answered with a laugh when he reached her and Derick. Jude was one of her friends too, just like Derick, and Derick and Jude was all time best friend. Jude was nice and had warm heart, but with his best friend Derick, he made some funny pranks too. Meeting both boys made Sabrina smile.

"So, I guess that gun after Derick was yours?" Sabrina asked Jude.

Jude nodded. "Yes, I was in back up just in case my little brother do something stupid." he joked. "I guess it was very nice thing. After all, he did something stupid."

"Hey, I thought you were my little brother!" Derick protested.

Sabrina laughed at the boys conversation. She had no doubt that something like this would have happened all the way during their survivals. Just like at school's. "So how did you guys met?" she asked when the boys looked at her.

"Uh, we were actually stayed together when that happened." Derick replied. "So basically, Jude and I stayed together all the time."

"We never thought we could meet our other friends. It's just awesome to meet you!" Jude grinned.

"So you went all this all by yourself?" Derick asked.

"Uh, sort of. Oh, do you guys know that Chloe is alive?" Sabrina happily asked, thinking about her friend.

"Chloe?" Derick echoed, surprised, but Jude reacted right away. "Chloe? That's great! Where is she now?"

"Um, we got separate." Sabrina said, sighing. She told the others how it happened. "Oh, and there's her cousin too, Rob."

"So she may not be alone, right?" Derick asked. "If her cousin is near her."

"Yeah, but still I'm not sure." Sabrina answered honestly.

"Are you going to look for her? And her cousin?" Jude asked. He looked at Sabrina with caring eyes.

"Um, I guess so. But not right now, I can't, I-" Sabrina said but Derick stopped her. "Your gun, we know."

"How?" Sabrina asked.

"We heard some chasing going on out there went shot a gun to tell where we are. After a second we knew it was you and fired some more. Guess it worked." Jude smiled.

"Also, with weaponless." Derick added. "Da*n, I probably wouldn't have helped you if you had weapon."

Sabrina rolled her eyes and Derick said, "Okay, okay, it's just joking. We would have helped you even if you were chased by a fifty of it." Then he thought about it for a second and corrected his words. "Okay, thirty five."
