 ...The rest of the day passed very quickly, too quick for Isla to remember all the details. The first thing she was clearly conscious of after their meeting with the head manager of the Destiny Factory, was that Isla and Lizzie were in front of Maeve, each drinking a cup of sweet liquid, which Maeve told them was a magical liquid that would switch their destinies. It was very scrumptious and Isla actually enjoyed it, but her heart was aching at the thought of leaving her whole family behind. 

 "Now you just need to sleep for ten minutes or so. And then..." Isla never heard the end of Maeve's explanation, because she fell asleep, collapsing on the soft, large bed next to her along with Lizzie. And as she closed her eyes, she was perfectly aware that this was the end of her switched destiny. The next time she opened her eyes, she wouldn't be Isla anymore. She would never be. 

 "Hmm..." Isla woke up, stretching her arms and blinking open her eyes, only to squint at the dazzling white light oozing from the ceiling. A woman with blonde hair and blue eyes were staring at her anxiously. Suddenly, she remembered everything. The Destiny Factory! She jumped on her legs and looked around- there was another girl who was looking as baffled as herself. She was in Isla's form, but she was Lizzie. No, that girl was Isla. 

 And I'm Lizzie! She thought, her whole body aching with amazement and grief. 'Lizzie' suddenly felt different, and she looked down, she realized the reason. 

 Soft, warm silk clothes(even though they were just pajamas) were wrapping her body, while long shiny hair trickled down her shoulders and to her waist. She was taller, and felt much cleaner than she ever did as Isla. Lizzie was relishing her fresh new life when a loud shriek interrupted her daydream. It was Isla. 

 "AARGHHHHH!" She shrieked. "I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! I'M ISLA NOW?!" The former Lizzie was looking down at herself and frowning at the dirty body, oily hair, and rusty clothes. Maeve was looking at her sympathetically, but she didn't seem to pity her. On the contrary, she looked relieved that their destinies were at their proper places at last. 

 "Well, it might be hard to accept this at first," Maeve said coolly, brushing her long hair off her shoulder, "But our duty at the Destiny Factory is done now. Please leave now." 

 But before any of the two girls could reply, Maeve murmured "Goodbye" and the next moment, the whole Destiny Factory disappeared, and Lizzie and Isla were standing on the park's grass again. Isla looked miserable and outraged, and Lizzie kind of felt the same, but she knew they needed to move to their new houses- considering by the trees swishing in the winds, the time was on again. 

 "Hey, er, Isla." Lizzie said awkwardly; it felt quite dumb to say her former name by her own mouth. Isla certainly had a confused ex-pression on her face about this name matters, but she reluctantly looked up to meet Lizzie's eyes. "What?" She asked sharply. 

 "Well, since you are Isla now, " Lizzie started, "I thought you needed to know your house's location. You can find it deep inside the alleyway you can find at the left side of our school." Isla shrugged as if she didn't care, but she was murmuring something under her breath. Ignoring this, Lizzie went on describing the basic information about her former family- Isla's family. 

 Lizzie did the same, proudly telling her about the big, cozy house she lived in, but her face darkened when she described her family. "...so my Mom is quite strict, and Dad is really funny. You should be careful not to fool around Mom. Oh, and," Isla pointed her finger at Lizzie's pocket. "All my academy schedules are written on a piece of paper, just there." 

 Lizzie nodded, tinkering the folded paper in her pocket, then the both said goodbye to head toward their own houses. 

 'Oh!' She gulped, turning to face toward Isla walking away toward the alleyway to tell her something, but then shook her head as she continued her way. She needed to tell her to buy food and medicine for her mother and Green. It took more mental-might for her to convince herself that she wasn't Isla now, and she needed to get used to living as Lizzie. 

 After all, I'm not Isla anymore. 

 Writer's note: Hello, readers of Second Chance! :) I hope you all enjoyed this new chapter. And I'm sorry if you are confused about the new names. After much thoughts, I decided to call former Isla as Lizzie and former Lizzie as Isla. I'm sure you're unfamiliar with this, but you probably need to get used to it, just like 'Lizzie'.
