Star Forest
“Emily, isn’t it time to decide who will be the Twelve Flowers?” Anne asked.
“Yes, Anne. Thank you. It’s 2010, so we must decide now. Spirits of the Star Forest, please gather in the Star Palace for a meeting.”
Emily’s voice rang out in the Star Forest. The spirits gathered in the Star Palace. Emily Cleared her throat.
“It is time to decide the Twelve Flowers that are chosen once in 100 years. 99 years ago, Anne Ivy as Sunflower, Donald Moon as Lavender, Miranda Leaf as Dandelion, Cindy Pebble as Cosmos, Lidia Shadow as Marigold, Debbie Earth as Rose, Leo Wind as Tulip, Tom Tree as Carnation, Christine Sprout as Violet, Erik Sun as Iris, Ben Snow as Lily, Daisy water as Daisy. Now they will each pick the next twelve flowers. Please come forward to tell us your decision.”
“The next Marigold will be Lina Shade, for January.” Lidia announced.
“The next Lavender will be Diana Moon, for February.” Donald announced.
“The next Rose will be Camilah Earth, for March.” Debbie announced.
“The next Carnation will be Tomas Tree, for April.” Tom announced.
“The next Dandelion will be Cinia Leaf, for May.” Miranda announced.
“The next Tulip will be Roberto Grass, for June.” Leo announced.
“The next Sunflower will be Johann Ivy, for July.” Anne announced.
“The next Violet will be Chris Sprout, for August.” Christine announced.
“The next Iris will be Luciay Sun, for September.” Erik announced.
“The next Daisy will be Desica Water, for October.” Daisy announced.
“The next Cosmos will be Gemmie Stone, for November.” Cindy announced.
“The next Lily will be Lilyanna Snow, for December.” Ben announced.
“Thank you for your announcement. The Twelve will be born next year or so, and will get their powers when it is 2022. We will send a message to Gemmie Stone. The meeting is over.” Emily said.
After the meeting ended, Emily took a walk near the Starstream. She crouched near it as the starry water flowed in the stream like a milky way filled with stars. Emily’s hair touched the water’s surface. Her silver hair golwed in the starlight. She sighed.
“Oh, the next twelve flowers, please defeat the evil and make your ancestors proud.” Emily whispered. Then she stood up, and walked into the starry forest.
Twelve years later......
