Prophecy from the stars
Gemmie was in a forest that were covered with stars. She gazed around, dazed at the twinkling stars. She looked around. She saw a figure walking toward her. The figure stopped in front of Gemmie.
“W, w, who are y, you?” Gemmie stammered.
“My name is Emily. I have an important message for you.” The figure said.
“A message? What is it?” Gemmie asked.
“You are the one of the next generations of the Twelve Flowers.”
“What do you mean?”
”You will have to stop the Dawn of the Evil rise. The Twelve Flowers are born once in a hundred years. Their mission is to stop the Dawn of the Evil from rising.”
”What is the Dawn of the Evil?”
“Dawn of the Evil is a group of people that are going to take over the magics.”
”So what should I do?”
“You must bring all the Twelve Flowers together. Including you, there are 12 people in the Twelve flowers. They are supposed to be in fifth grade by now.”
“But I’m in sixth grade!”
“You were just born a few months earlier. You must bring the Twelve flowers together, Gemmie!”
”That‘s it? But what do after that? They won‘t understand a thing!”
”Oh, they will. Do not worry. I will guide you in your dream.”
“But...... I’m just normal!”
“If you were normal, would you be having this dream right now?”
”Um, no.... I guess.”
”Each Twelve flowers will have a secret power, and they will be given a flower‘s name. You will know who belongs in the Twelve Flower when you meet them.”
”But...........!”
“No ‘but’s. This is your duty. Find the twelve flowers. I will visit you in your dream.”
“What?”
”May the stars and the moon light your path, Gemmie.”
“Gemmie! Gemmie!”
Gemmie’s eyes popped open, and she saw her mom glaring at her.
“You’re late! It’s 8:50 already! Oh, I told you to wake up!”
Gemmie gasped, thinking about the dream she had. She didn’t notice her mom yelling at her. As her mom slapped Gemmie’s back, Gemmie jumped up, already figured out what to do.
“Sorry, mom! I’ll get ready right now!”
She got ready, got her backpack, and ran out the front door.
She ran as fast as she can. But when she got to school, it was already 9:15. Her homeroom teacher glared at her.
“I’m sorry! I slept late... Sorry!”
Her teacher sighed.
“Gemmie Stone, you will have to write a letter of apology. It’s until tomorrow. Now sit down and bring me your homework.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
After school, she ran into Cinia and Lilyanna, two girls in fifth grade.
“Hi, Cinia, Lilyanna!” Gemmie said.
”Oh, hi!” They replied.
“Do you two have some time? I’d like to tell you something very, very, very important. If you don’t mind, let’s go to the library.”
Cinia and Lilyanna gladly agreed, and the three girls set off to the library.
