Happy Ending

The next day, Baigestar opened his eyes. As sunlight broke into his den, he yawned, and got up. He could barely remember what happened yesterday. Blacktail, Spottedfur, Blackstar, nine lives.... He was so tired. He thought of Blacktail, and sighed.
'I wish no cat like that ever appears again in my life.'

"Baigetail! Oh, I mean Baigestar!" Flameheart dashed into Baigestar's den.

"What is it?" Baigetstar asked.
"Spottedfur told me to ask you who are you going to pick for deputy. You'll need a deputy now, you know." Flameheart replied.

"Thank you for telling me. I'll decide before moonhigh."

Before Moonhigh...

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here for a clan meeting!" His voice rang out in the clearing. As cats gathered around the Brightrock, Baigestar opened his mouth.

"It is time to pick the next deputy of BrightClan. Now that I became a clan leader, I should be picking a deputy, to help me lead the clan well, as if it has never fallen before," 

Cats whispered at each other. Then Baigestar spoke again.

"So with very hard thinking, I decided to name Flameheart as the next deputy of BrightClan."

"Flameheart! Flameheart!" Flameheart gasped with delight as cats shouted his name.

"It would be my honor, Baigestar. I will try my best to serve you well."

Baigestar nodded, and then he opened his mouth again.

"And the joy of leading a clan is having new warriors in it. Darkishpaw, come forward."
Darkishpaw squealed as he jumped right on to the Brightrock.

"I, Baigestar, leader of BrightClan, calls upon our warrior ancestors to look down of this apprentice. He has tried hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him as a warrior to you in his turn. Darkishpaw, do you promise to uphold your clan, even with the cost of your life?"
"I, I do!"
"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name. From this day on you will be known as Darkishlake. StarClan honors your compassion and solemness, and welcomes you a full warrior of BrightClan."
"Darkishlake! Darkishlake!"

"Thank you, Baigestar." Darkishlake mewed.

"With this, the clan meeting is over."

As cats were celebrating with each other, Baigestar gazed up at the sky. The moon was coming up now.

"StarClan, help me guide this clan into greatness. Do you think I can do it well?" He mewed. 

The stars shined brightly, as if they were repling as 'yes' in his question.

Writer's note: Well, that's the end of Baigetail's return. He lead his clan well, but left the clan afterward, and no one knows the reason. After he left, Flameheart took his place as temporary, and Flameheart left as well. So Patchpaw, who became Patchleaf that time, took his place as Patchstar. Now Patchstar seems to have left too, leaving Blossomkit behind. But I know that she will come back one day. I hope you enjoyed this quite short story, and after this, I will write another 'warriors' story. It may be about BrightClan, or not.
