SECRET ATTIC

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL#1

“Rilla? Rilla? Rilla! Today is Christmas eve! Wake up! We promised to go to there!” Ria said. She was trying to wake up Rilla. That was the hardest job that she could ever do.

“So what? We can go a little later. It doesn’t matters.” Rilla complained.

“Ugh, all the students in the academy promised to come after breakfast. Even time is different around the world, even they climb up at a different time, the time is same so we can’t be late! This academy is a very mathematic place. So let’s go!” Ria yelled. She really wanted to dress up and go to the party.

“Fine, after breakfast.” Rilla said.

“No, right now. Elizabeth is waiting. Snow is saying, ‘come up to the attic’. Come on, I know that you have a plan.” Ria begged.

“Oh, then. I really do have a plan anyway.” Rilla said, giving up.

“Oh, really? I didn’t think that! Let’s go!” Ria said.

“What? Are you nuts? We at least have to wear best Christmas clothes.” Rilla said.

“What’s a Christmas clothes?” Ria asked.

“What’s a Christmas clothes? Of course it’s red and green clothes. If you really want to enjoy, you can wear santa clothes and santa hats. Or red clothes and rudolph headbands.” Rilla said.

“Then mom and dad will notice.” Ria said.

“Ugh, then just wear red T-shirts and green pants.” Rilla said.

“Put santa hats and rudolph headbands in a little bag.” Ria said.

“And, put some walkingstick candies for our classmates and presents for our best friends.”

“Exactly. And we say that we are going for a morning walk around the neighborhood.” Rilla said.

“What? But we don’t have to go outside.” Ria said, confused.

“No. This is a first floor. So, we open the window and go out. At outside, we go out the yard. And go until that they can’t see. And, use the shortcut at the woods and sneak in using the back fence. Then, we go in our window, and quickly go up the attic.” Rilla said.

“Oh, that’s good. But don’t you think it won’t work?” Ria asked.

“Let’s just try it. We don’t have any other ways. Let’s wear and go out.” Rilla said.

They quickly dressed up and packed up. They raced went to the living room.

“Where are you going?” Mom asked.

“Just for a morning walk!” Rilla said.

“Don’t you want your breakfast first?” Dad asked.

“We’ll be back in ten minutes!” Ria said.

They rushed out and walked fast to left.

“Ugh, how much do we have to walk?” Ria asked.

“Just a little more. I know much about this neighborhood then you do.” Rilla said.

“I think this will be more late then eating breakfast and using the attic ranch right in our room.” Ria complained.

“But this gives us adventure moods. So, this is more exciting.” Rilla said.

“That never makes any sense, Rilla.” Ria said.

“Come on. We only have to go around the corner.” Rilla said.

Ria groaned. But she just followed Rilla.

Three minutes later, they reached the back fence.

They climbed over and went into the window quitely.

Rilla put her fingers to her lips.

Ria nodded.

She felt uneasy.

They opened the ranch and climbed up.

They closed it at the attic.

They looked around.

“Elizabeth?” Ria said.

There was no answer.

“Where’s Elizabeth?” Ria asked.

“I don’t know.” Rilla whispered.

There was a note on the floor.

Ria picked it up.

It said,

Dear Rilla and Ria,

I have to get ready for the Christmas party,

so I can’t go out to see you at the attic.

There is many things to do for principals.

So, just slide down and come to the academy.

I will be waiting!

Waiting,

Elizabeth

“Let’s go, Rilla!” Ria said.

She dragged Rilla to the drawer.

She opened it and said,

“Rilla, come on!” Ria said, and went down the silde.

“Hey, wait!” Rilla said.

She quickly went down the slide.

They landed at the main entrance.

“We’re here!” Ria said.

“Let’s go.” Rilla said.

They saw Elizabeth handing out santa shaped cookies for everyone.

“Elizabeth!” They said.

They ran to her.

“Hello, kids. These are homemade cookies.” Elizabeth said.

She handed out cookies to them.

“You are five minutes late to your time.”

“Rilla made a super long crazy plan. So, that’s why we are late.” Ria said.

“Oh, Ria, you shouldn’t call your sister’s plan crazy. She thought hard for it.” Elizabeth said.

“Yeah, that’s right, Ria.” Rilla said.

“Humph.” Ria said.
