SECRET ATTIC
CHRISTMAS SPECIAL#9
“It’s all clear! I am so glad!” Amber said.
“What a terrible Christmas eve!” Erica said.
“What do you mean?” Ria asked.
“I wanted a very nice and peaceful Christmas eve.” Erica said.
“It’s a happy ending, Erica.” Rilla said.
Erica nodded and smiled.
“It’s a great ending!” Luna said.
“We all agree. Erica?” Sena asked.
Erica nodded.
All the students jumped and bounced.
They all traded gifts, did events, and decorated Christmas trees.
“We saved the day!” Tom shouted.
They rolled their eyes.
They had a great time.
Finally, it was time to go home.
“Isn’t it disappointing?” Rilla asked Ria.
“What is?” Ria asked.
“Going home.” Rilla said.
“Mom said there is a ending if there is a start. It’s much enjoyable because there is a ending in those excitements.” Ria said.
“You’re right.” Rilla said.
All of their friends went home.
It was there turn.
They approached the slide.
“You did a wonderful job, Ria and Rilla. But, you might get disappointed of this, but there is two homeworks that you should complete.” Elizabeth said.
“What is it?” Rilla asked.
“One is writing about Santa. We have to learn about jobs. This job is Santa. And we will talk about it at next class.” Elizabeth said.
“What about the other one?” Ria asked.
“The other one, you will see when you get home at your attic.” Elizabeth said with a wink.
“Okay. We will see.” Rilla said.
“Good bye! Please come back at December 31th, for the new year countdown! Bye!” Elizabeth said.
“Bye!” Rilla and Ria said.
They went down the slide.
They spun and spun.
Then, everything was still.
“We’re home!” Rilla said.
Ria ignored her and searched for the homework clue.
She picked up a note.
“Rilla, look at this! Homework clue!” Ria said.
She handed the note to Rilla.
It said,
Dear Ria and Rilla,
Ria, please find the thing I say and bring it to class at new year.
Something to read
Something to write
Something to learn
Something to enjoy
Rilla, please find the thing I say and bring it to class at new year.
Something to learn
Something to love
Something to enjoy
Something that brings happiness
Elizabeth
“What is this means?” Ria asked.
Rilla shrugged.
“How do I know that?” Rilla said.
“Um.... Now jump?” Ria asked.
“Of course! Jump!” Rilla said.
“You go first.” Ria said.
Rilla shook her head. And then she nodded.
She jumped down.
She landed on the bed.
Rilla spread the blanket at the floor beneath the attic ranch.
Rilla nodded to Ria.
Ria jumped down on the blanket.
They put the blanket on the bed.
And they quietly climbed out the window.
They quickly rushed to the gate.
Rilla opened the gate with a ‘Crash’
“We’re home!” They cried.
“Just in time for breakfast!” Dad said.
They ate breakfast and ran into their rooms.
They found the footprints that Ria made.
Rila glared at her.
“You wipe it off.” Rilla said.
“Can’t you help me?” Ria begged.
“No. You did it so you should clean it.” Rilla said.
“But it’ s our room.” Ria protested.
“And this is your mess.” Rilla shot back.
“Fine.” Ria said and she wiped it off with a rag.
After Ria cleaned up, they began to guess what the note means.
They spent a great Christmas eve.
At night, they lay down on their beds and made a Christmas wish and wrote it down and put it in the deepest part of the Christmas tree, in their own Christmas tree, and they lay down to sleep.
