LittleClan Super Edition_Shadow X Jay

Prologue

Violetheart screeched with pain. She was having her first litter, and it’s taking time for the kit to come. It was dawn, and slight sunlight shown in to the nursery.

Leafkit, Stonekit, and Dandelionkit was playing right in front of the nursery, and Violetheart’s mate, Pebblestream, who was standing outside the nursery, was staring worriedly into the nursery. Tansyshine and Vineheart sighed.

“When I had my litter, Leafkit didn’t come out for a long time, but it didn’t take this long. Are you sure she’s okay?” Vineheart asked, worried.

“I’m sure she’s okay.” Tansyshine replied. Jaypaw strolled around the nursery, worried. Even thought it was his fourth time watching a she-cat have her litter, he was very nervous. Just then, Violetheart screamed.

“The first one is finally coming,” Tansyshine mewed.

“Jaypaw, when it arrives, rip the kitting sac with your teeth to release it.” Jaypaw wriggled into position as a small and wet black kit tumbled into the nest.

“It’s a she-kit!” Tansyshine announced.

“Jaypaw, quickly! Lick her as fast as you can!” Tansyshine instructed. As Jaypaw licked the she-kit, Violetshine asked,

“Is she okay?”

“Yes, she’s very healthy, don’t worry.” Tansyshine mewed.

“Um, Tansyshine? Is that it?” Violetshine mewed, sounding confused.

“Is there a problem?” Tansyshine asked.

“I think that kit is all. I don’t feel any more kits in my belly!” Violetshine mewed.

“So you have only one kit? That’s unusual.” Tansyshine mewed.

“It’s okay,” Jaypaw mewed.

“If that’s the only kit that is born, doesn’t that make this kit more special?”

“You’re right!” Violetshine gasped, and Tansyshine tilted his head, then nodded.

“You’re kit is beautiful. Pebblestream, you can come in now!” Tansyshine mewed, and went to the medicine den to fetch borage.

Pebblestream dashed into the nursery.

“She’s beautiful!” Pebblestream mewed.

“She is. She’s our beautiful kit.” Violetshine mewed. Pebblestream rubbed his nose to her cheek, and Violetshine purred.

“What are you going to name her?” Leafkit asked, who just dashed into the nursery. Violetshine and Pebblestream mewed at once.

“Her name is Flosskit.”

“That’s a nice name!” Jaypaw mewed. Violetshine and Pebblestream smiled, and began talking with each other.

Jaypaw touched his nose to Flosskit’s face, and said,

“You’re beautiful, Flosskit, I wonder what color your eyes will be. I’m sure that color will be spedcial like you.”

As Tansyshine came in with borage, Jaypaw silently thought,

‘I’ll make her mine!’

Leafkit saw Jaypaw’s eyes glowing with desire, as he walked out of the nursery.
