Gyeongbokgung Palace
Hello! I'm uni.Today, I'm gona introduce Gyeongbokgung Palace, one of the palaces where the king lived. Gyeongbokgung Palace has a unique roof shape and tiles, giving it a beautiful feeling. I was interested in city planners, so I was happy, when I looked into various information about this.
Gyeongbokgung palace was the first palace built when King Taejo founded Joseon and Hanyang Cheondo implemented it during the Joseon Dynasty. It was destroyed during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592, neglected for 275 years, and was rebuilt in the 19th century under the leadership of Heungseon Daewongun. It was the most unfortunate thing I've ever been through. However, it is fortunate that Gyeongbokgung Palace is still beautiful and famous in the world, even if it is not the original form. I will stop talking about this now and tell you about the famous places in Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Geunjeongjeon is the first place have to go. It is the place where the country's large events or the king's coronation ceremony were held, and you can see the high level of technology in the late Joseon Dynasty. The next place have to go is Gyeonghoeru, which is a really beautiful place. It is a building used by the king for national events, such as holding banquets with his servants, entertaining envoys, and holding rain festivals in case of drought. And don't forget to wear Hanbok.
