Seoul Art Center
Hi again, i'm uni. I have a bad news, My second post locked! and i don't know why, my mom either. But that's okay, because this post will be more interesting. Today l wrote about Seoul's opera house, the Seoul Art Center.
Seoul Art Center, usually in Korea we called it Yedang or Hall in short.It was pointed out that there was no proper cultural space when people preparing for the 1986,Seoul Asian games and 1988, Seoul Olympics. Effectively, at that time the only classy cultural and artistic pace in Seoul was the Sejong Center for the performing Arts. So the art center was built. It's on Woomyeon mountain. but why it's been built on Woomyeon mountain? I think because this mount is cheep and quiet....? The Seoul Art Center shall be responsible for various project to promote culture and arts and expand opportunities for cultural nostalgia through the operation of the Seoul Arts Center facilities, performaces and exhibition activity, and their distribution, collection, management, distribution, investigation and research of culture and arts related data, domestic and international exchange project, cooperation with national art organization, and the operation of supporters' associations. The Seoul Arts Center, symboilzed as Korea's leading art institution in name and reality, is designed to connect six types of art genres, including performances, exhibitions, games, education, materials, and research and is expressed in each specialized space to maintain the in dependence and connection of each space.
