Chapter 3
Emily came to the house at almost dinner time. So Emily was very tired. She and her family opened the house door, and there was a guest who had arrived, making some soup. Uncle Tomas was here! Emily likes her uncle. But he is swamped because of his work. His job is a firefighter. In the village where Emily lives, there is a lot of fire. And because of that, Uncle Tomas is always busy. "Uncle Tomas!" said Tommy with a cheerful smile. "Hey guys. It's been a while!" said Uncle Tomas. But Emily saw a tired face in his face. 'He must be tired of his work. Or us!' Emily thought. "Hey, I will make the rest of the dinner," I said. And now, Uncle Tomas's face was blighted by it. "She's all grown up!" Uncle Tomas shouted. "Sorry, Emily, but I will do the rest." Emily's Dad spoke. "You can watch TV with Uncle Tomas," said Dad. "Oh yes!" said Tommy. And three of them raced to the sofa and turned on the TV. When the TV was on, the news began. "There is a fire on the mountain. And the wind is very fast., The fire is out of control!. The mountain is burning!
Chapter 4
Everyone in the house was shocked. They couldn't say anything. And Tommy broke the silence. "Are we safe? That mountain is one we climb up in the morning," said Tommy with a worried face. Uncle Tomas burst up and began wearing clothes. "You guys turn on the TV and do what they say. Don't go out before the news tells you," said Unle Tomas. "What are you going to do?" said Emily. "I'm going to the fire station. And then I'll do what the director says to," said Uncle Tomas. "I'll call you if something happens," said Uncle Tomas, going to the door. "Be safe!" Dad, Tommy, and Emily said. "You too," said Uncle Tomas, leaving the house. "Let's watch the TV again," said Dad in a low voice. His face was serious. "Everyone in the nearby village, evacuate to the nearest shelter," said the anker. "Guys, bring the stuff you must need and come out to the living room. And hurry. We will go to the shelter as the anker says." Dad said in a serious tone. Emily and Tommy ran to their rooms. Emily picked up her phone and cable, and some of her important things. Tommy usually picked up the toys. "Tommy, bring just one toy!" said Dad, shouting. And when Emily packed her bag, she helped Tommy's bag. And when all the family arrived in the living room, they opened the door and ran to the shelter.
Chapter 5
Everyone in the shelter was in a panic. Even Emily was inpatient. She said to there family to go to the restroom and left to find Jorjina. She must be here somewhere. And when she couldn't find Jorjina, she called her. Beep.....Beep..... "Hello?" said Jorjina in a sleepy voice. "Where are you?! I couldn't find you in the shelter!" said Emily in a high tone. "What? What shelter? I went camping far from home," said Jorjina. "There is a fire on the mountain! You should evacuate at once," said Emily. "But I.." Jorjina said, but the connection was tenacious. But Emily didn't have the time to worry because a great number of people raced toward her. She hid to the side. "Why are they running?" Emily asked the people beside the side of Emily. "The food is running out in the storage. And they are going to get the last food in the storage," said the woman. And Emily ran to her family. But when Emily arrived at their carpet, there was a breathless Dad with a smile. There was a lot of food in Emily's carfet! "Wow, Dad! Great job," said Emily. But Emily didn't feel good. The people are fighting to get the food!
