I was playing from a playground with some younger girls. We pretended that we lived in an orphanage because that we were orphans.
Then, a third-grade girl named Sieun Kim and I went to pick some grass. We were going to pretend that it was our food. I picked lots of grass. "Sieun! I picked some!" I called. Sieun smiled. I knew her because I met her in the preschool I used to go. "Great! Then let's go back to our orphanage," Sieun said. "Yeah. Sengha is waiting," I said. Sengha is my taekwondo classmate. She is a first-grader.
Sieun and I ran back to the playground when..., I tripped! Then...
"Gah! Oof!" I squeaked. I stumbled, trying not to fall, but.., Bam!
I tumbled over and fell to the floor. "Ouch!" I cried.
Sieun gasped. I dropped all the grass I was holding. "Daeun, are you all right?!" she asked, worrying that I might got hurt a lot. "Ugh...," I grunted. I tried to stand up, but it was hard. I bumped my leg hard, so it was hard to walk.
"Yes, I'm okay, but, I think I need to rest," I said, gritting my teeth. "Are you sure you're okay?" Sieun asked, giving me a 'You're not okay' face. "Actually, I'm not. As I said, I think I need to rest." I grunted.
Sieun picked up the grass all over the floor. Then she got my arm and led me to the playground. I could barely walk.
When I sat down and checked if I had any scars, I found some on my arms. My left arm was a little hurt, but...,
My right arm had a big wound! I moaned with pain. "This is terrible!" I grumbled. "Are you okay, Daeun?!" Sengha asked. "Yes, I'm okay, but I'm afraid I need to rest," I answered by repeating when I answered to Sieun. Sengha frowned at my wound. "I'll go to my real apartment house and get some bandages. Wait here," she said. "No, don't go, Sengha! Your house is faraway, so you shouldn't go because it sounds too dangerous," I said. "Yeah, Sengha. Please don't go," Sieun agreed. "But you're hurt-a lot. So I think I can get bandages," Sengha insisted.
I tried to stop her again, when I thought that children need to learn how to help people. So I let her go. "All right, Sengha. Be careful on the way. Thanks. Go," I said. Sieun agreed too. Sengha ran out of the playground and headed to her apartment house. "I hope Sengha comes back soon, Daeun," Sieun said. "Me neither," I agreed.
A few minutes passed. But Sengha didn't return to the playground yet. "I hope nothing's wrong with her," I said to Sieun. "Yeah. She should come faster," Sieun said.
Soon Sengha came back. She pulled out bandages from her pocket and gave it to me. "Thank you, Sengha," I said.
Sieun got the bandages and put it on my wounds.
When it was 8:10, we all went home. I walked to my apartment house. I showed the wounds to Mama. Her answer was; "How terrible!"
I washed up, but it was hurt. When somebody washes up the wound, the germs inside the wounds will wash out, so it felt hurt when I washed up. Then I changed to my pajamas and came to Mama. She cleaned my wound again with a disinfectant. "Ouch! Stop! Please stop! That hurts!" I yelped. Mama stopped a few moments later.
After dinner, I wrapped new bandages around my wounds. I hope the wounds get better fast!
