Everyone has a song that deeply resonates with them. There are countless types of songs lke jazz, pop, or classic. The music that resonates with you can touch your heart, comfort you, or encourage you. Sometimes lyrics reflect the state of your mind.
The song that truly resonates with me is a Worship song: A song called "Build a Boat".
This song is about trusting in God and taking a step forward where no one say there is no light, like Noah.
When I first heard this song, it kept ringing my head. The lyric 'Every word You say is gonna come true. You will lead me to the promised land. Everything You say is gonna happen. Even though I haven't seen it yet' reminded me of the moments that I prayed and hanged onto God but didn't seem God is really helping me. That time I was rather skeptical of God if he really is the one who replies to me. But this song showed me that God is the one who is the light, the one who hears my prayers.

This lyric shows the faith of Noah, who built a boat where it seems it will never rain by trusting in God, even though people laughed at him. I want to have (or emulate) Noah’s faith, placing my trust in God. Even when a hard time comes to me, when it seems like God never cares about me, I will stand up with the faith like Noah. I will believe that God is always by my side and never leaves me. As the lyrics goes like this, 'Your love never fails or fades', God's love is eternal and everlasting. I will awlays remember that and take a step forward.
