Episode 6: Preparing for the competition
Yuri continued. "We are invited to the National Youth Band Competition." The room was silent for a moment "You mean our band is going to a band competition!" Jenny said breaking the silence. Yuri nodded. Kai was still shocked that Yuri -more exactly Yurica- was a world-famous guitarist and now the whole band was going to a National Youth Band Competition! "And that means more practice." Yuri said
"Is there anything to do before the competition?" Lyra asked "We have to make our own song." Yuri answered "Gee that sounds hard." Jenny said. "Guys we need to practice and prepare for the competition." Aiden said and continued "So what if we practice on wednesday and prepare for the competition on friday?" "I think that's a good idea." Lyra said and everyone agreed. It was friday so the kids talked about how to prepare for the competition. "First we need to make our own song." Lyra said and continued "Let's seperate into two teams. One team could write the lyrics and the other could make the melody and add the chords." "Ok but we need to choose the theme of our song." Jenny said. "Jenny's right." Aiden added. Yuri spoke "It could be about us. We could call it This is our sound." when Yuri said This is our sound her eyes looked different. It was cold, strong and overwhelming. "Wow that's a great idea!" Jenny cried. So they decided the song will be about them and its name will be 'This is our sound'. "But we have to make an official band name." Jenny said "You're right." Kai said slamming his forhead. "You know I thought about this and came up with a few candidate name." Aiden said and he reached for his note.
