Long ago when India was governed by the British people Mahatma Gandhi and his followers fight for their freedom. And instead of using violent to change the law or be free they did not use violent but they use nonviolent resistance.
Gandhi he was an Indian leader who worked all of his life to free his people against the British. He protests for 30years and they were free. Because of Magatma Gandhi India was free and other country could use nonviolint resistance. Because of Gandhi when African-American was to change the law they succeed.
He is an idol of nonviolent resistance.I respect Mahatma Gandhi a lot. If you have extra time to read books or watch movie one time, watch movie about Gandhi or read about Gandhi. It is very interesting
