  • The Abi is a place where you can play in the holidays. The Abi has a gtb. That means whole-day-care. When you are in the gtb, you go to the Abi at 9o’clock. You get breakfast, lunch and play games. I was sometimes in the gtb. The food there isn’t yummy and it isn’t bad either. The minders are very nice. Everybody who isn’t in the gtb can come at 2 o’clock to the Abi. At 3 o’clock the Abi makes activities.
On Monday Abi-children painted animals with window color. On Tuesday they made decorations. On Wednesday they painted on T-shirts. I hadn’t a T-shirt. A minder gave me a T-shirt of another minder. The minder’s name was ‘Delia’. Therefore I wrote a ‘D’ on the T-shirt. And Delia cooked for the gtb. So I painted a cooking pan with potatoes. The next day I asked a minder: “Was Delia happy about the T-shirt?” And she said:” Yes!”
Then some other minders had made a fire, because we wanted to make bread-on-stick. We put the dough on a stick. We held the stick near the ember. But the ember wasn’t ready yet. So we couldn’t make bread. Therefore I went to other minders. The other minders made something with a mass. The mass was something like clay. The only difference was that you needn’t bake the mass. I built a ball and a trophy for the ball. And I built a little pendant with a star. Then I went to the fire again. I sat beside it.
A minder asked me some funny questions. What is white, strong and disturbs you when you are eating? An avalanche!!! What is green, has four legs and hurts when it falls on your head? A billiard-table!!! What is yellow and can’t swim? An excavator!!! And why can’t it swim? Because it has only one arm!!! Aren’t these questions funny?
While we were talking the ember was prepared. I went with a minder to a shed in order to get the sticks for the bread-on-stick. But there were not enough sticks. So we had to look for some other sticks. Then we got the ember from the minder, Hage. My ember was very hot. And my bread was ready to eat in 3minutes. Unfortunately we weren’t allowed to make a second bread. At first everyone who wants bread-on-stick must have a bread. After that we could make a second bread. Then I helped 2 children making their bread-on-stick. They gave me a little piece of the bread for thanks. Then I made a bread-on-stick for a minder. Again I got a piece of the bread. And this time I could make a second bread for myself. While I was holding the bread near the ember an Englishwomen came. I talked with her in English. While I was talking with her my friend Carla came. Carla made a bread, too. I talked with her about our schools. Now the ember wasn’t hot anymore. Suddenly the Englishwoman said:” Hans-Georg honey! Can you bring us ember?!” Hage the minder brought us new ember. In fact the Englishwomen was Hage’s wife!! And Hage wasn’t the real name, but the nickname of Hans-Georg!!! That was very funny.
Later after Carla and I ate the bread, we played a game called ‘Gambler’. It was very nice. Then I went home. It was a super good day!!!
