What is Echo's punishment?
Echo was the prettiest of the forest numphes,
but she talked so much.
One day, she saw Narcissus.
She liked him, because he was very handsome
Echo didn't know Narcissus' mind.
So she asked other numphs.
Leaf nyemps, tree nymphs and so many nyemphs in forest.
A numph said,
"You don't know Narcissus' mind, ask the forest goddess.
Then goddess answers your question"
So she went to the forest goddess,
but goddess was talking other numphs.
Echo couldn't bear talking.
She cept talking.
Forest goddess was very angry at Echo.
So forest goddess made her,couldn't talk.
Just Echo couldn't speak repeat the last thing that she heard.
Little late, she saw Narcissus, but she couldn't to talk him.
She was very sad, and her body disspered but her voice left.
Echo's ponishment was that Echo could talk last thing that she heard
I think this Echo's ponishment and this story teach us,
"Don't speak so much and If we talk, we think other person."
I know 'nymph' same Korean 'nim'.
because 'nymph' sound like 'nim'
Other people don't never think like me,
So this story 'nymph' is change into 'fairy'
It is better than before.
