The developed countries realized how much the environment is polluted and tried to prevent maximum pollution and the lost of countless people's lives. So, they thought of some renewable energy sources such as sunlight generation, geothermal power generation, tidal power generation, wind power generation etc. All of those renewable energy sources don't pollute the environment and they're infinite.
Among those renewable energy sources, the most used energy source is waste energy. It uses methane and remaining heat from incineration to produce electricity.

The two energy sources are not that clean though, because they have some pollutant emissions. So, the cleanest form of energy will be the rest of the renewable energy sources. They all have advantages and disadvantages, so, there is no 'cleanest energy source'.
These renewable energy sources all have great advantages, but producing energy with those renewable energy sources are so expensive that lots of undeveloped countries cannot afford them. If these energy sources are well used and common, renewable energy users will increase. Therefore, the developed countries should share their budgets to make our environment the way it used to be.
